" Ice Spear doesn't do any damage at all, but it can score critical strikes on mobs, so everytime it happens I have a chance to receive Power charge. " Wow, breaking news. If Inner Force buffs Righteous Fire "More spell damage" buff - it is definetely must have passive, if only you can handle increased fire damage on you... I'm slowly leveling up now in 68/69 maps as I'm still trying to find a shield that will let me keep RF up without using Springleaf.
Got a Rathpith but even with a score under 5k energy shield and 699 life I still can't quite keep RF up so my search goes on for a better shield :) |

You could use a tiki amu for another 1% regen, then you would have enough to sustain rf with whatever shield :)

i am currently level 69 and loving this build
current gear: going to change the ring with another andvarius as soon as i afford it. the shield is very nice to keep RF up even if you dont have 4.3k ES :) edit: im using to cast auras on my bm (vitality , purity and discipline on bm , haste and clarity on mana). Lv81, 132/337 IIQ/IIR right now and running this build with rf and 6 auras simultaneously(evasion, haste, vitality, purity, clarity, discipline). One thing to note is that a lot of comments on item finding in this thread have been overexaggerated. It is still extremely difficult to find uniques. They don't drop like candy. I've personally measured how many uniques I get per hour soloing based on 12 hours and 5 trials and it's approximately 2/hr. I run maps 67-77 and almost all the uniques are trashy ones worth less than 2 chaos. Rares, even worse.
After playing seven other characters and leveling all of them to 80 I'd say that despite the weaker clear speed vs other end game mf builds, I would recommend this build for your first item finding character since it is the LEAST expensive to begin with. However, it is far from the most efficient in terms of end-game map clearing. If you want to earn currency, then the fastest and most efficient way is by flipping items. I've never made more than 10ex through item finding since I started playing. All of my currency has been from flipping. So before dumping 45 exalts and several dozen hours of playtime into creating an item finding character like I have, you guys should know that relying on RNG to make money is like playing the lottery. It sucks in comparison to the stock market game where you buy low-sell high and you will always earn currency for your time. As I've approached end-game, it's become more obvious that there is no other point to killing monsters than to item find. If you have the exalts, then you can reach an optimal 184iiq/397iir on any character.

All you really need end game is to reach 1800 dps and you will instagib virtually every monster on every map besides rares and uniques obviously. Buying a top tier end game weapon can singlehandedly land you above 1800+ dps
BTW Springleaf is superior to Rise of the Phoenix. Springleaf grants you godly constant ES regen which outshines all benefits from Rise of the Phoenix. ROP is a piece of shit compared to Springleaf. If you run low hp + rf, then Springleaf is the BEST most fucking OP godmode shield in the game despite it's crappy ES and no spell damage. The only other shield that beats it is a rare with +1000 ES, spell damage, and crit chance. I only know one guy in this game with that shield and he spent several dozen exalteds just to craft it. In case you guys are wondering, here is my equipment

When I'm not partying I use moonsorrow, which is most cost-efficient end-game lightning weapon in the game. Last edited by intrins1k#0658 on May 18, 2013, 9:38:59 PM
