I was wondering, what kind of wands should i look out for? imbued/demon horn etc.

also i have about 800 es right now at merci ledge w/o dicipline, but with dicipline its around 1.2k (i know its low but gear is crap) should i aim for at least 2k es b4 act 2?

and finally, can you tell me what i should go for next?

I'm a new PofE player and have been using this guide for basically my first character, and have been having a lot of fun. I'm currently lvl57 and in act 2 merciless, and have soloed everything so far using only self-found items. Some areas were kind of difficult, and I've definitely died plenty of times, but I figure it's all part of learning the game.

I haven't reached the farming stage of the build yet, and I haven't started trying to trade for any of the farming items either. I'll probably start doing that once I've finished merciless. At that point I should be able to gradually build up my farming gear to get the desired stuff.

As for gems, I used a lot of frost nova and frozen pulse in the early levels, started using Spark a lot more once I got Fork, and have been using totems Totems TOTEMS ever since I got Spell Totem from the Mervail quest in cruel difficulty. If you need to know what gems you'll need, just check the original post for pointers.

off topic but since there should be plenty of shav users here....

i need a RRGGBB 6l shavs to test out a new build. had that twice but changed it to my current BBBRRG and dont really wanna chrom all over again.

so if anyone with a 6L RRGGBB shavs wishes to trade for a BBBRRG let me know.

Is it better to stay at lvl 64 and farm docks for currency to buy Shavronne or level up and farm docks at higher level?

Did they nerf the unique droprates again wtf?

I changed an andy for a quantity ring and i have 80% iiq and 312 iir now and i havent found a single unique in 15+ maps from yesterday.

I kill bosses and they drop like 3 scroll of wisdoms and white gear -_- .

Here is my current gear. Should I get some life on the helm to run discipline? Besides that I have all the auras active except haste. The problems I have run into consist of 1) dying super fast due to the 3kish es and 2) being unable to run maps with chaos dmg/sec.

i think you need a better helm and i dont see your shield
a helm with 200+ES and a shield with 350+ ES will boost your ES to 5k
IIQ is generally worth 2x IIR

i personally run with CI, so i dont have the problem to run maps with chaos damage/sec :P

shield is there now - should i use for my helm instead then?

So I'm in cruel act 3 right now, and my damage is piss poor.
Is this intended? Because atm I'm getting carried by someone as I cannot solo content..

I'm lvl45, have about 600 life, 500es, and spark tooltip says 38dps =/ I know the tooltip is wrong, but it takes ages to kill stuff, while my marauder RoA friend is frying mobs and tanking everything with 2200hp at lvl49 =/

My tooltip at low levels was pretty bad too. Firstly get rid of them gloves and rings etc, the #-# lightning damage doesn't apply to spark as far I know, neither does % ele damage on belt.

I wish I could remember what gear I used at lower levels, but that's all I can remember, sorry!
