well all in all, i'm actually dying more with shav n RF than soul mantle. n since RF is the only way to out dps soulmantle... overall i'll actually say soulmantle > shav low life rf when it comes to totem builds.... imo of course since i'm too lazy to keep turning RF on n off n rather just keep it on permanently.

not prepared to deal with all the black points of RF with totems, gonna resspec out ancestral bonds n put life leech in my 6l instead of spell totem, and see how it goes :)

different game play for sure. i'm too laZy to dispel burning or to swap n cast for burst RF dps, so i just keep RF up permanently, whatever the map... and i do every map except 0 regen.

for those maps with the mods i mentioned, it's easy if i didnt turn on RF, but i persist in trying a way to keep Rf on permanently so i paid the price to realise there's just no way to keep RF on permanently in some maps (even with springleaf instead of normal spirit shield). well, actually a lot of maps if u alch them.

that's why i said "imo" in my earlier post, i'm sure someone who doesnt mind paying full attention n needing to micro wouldn't die, but hey, i play totem coz i want to be able to multitask while playing :)

at any rate i just tried no totems with life leech+ghost reaver n it works well, only problem is i had to wear a dream frag which reduces my iq+ir... so back to totems again. i'll just be more selective and start re-rolling alched maps now i guess.

dont get what u mean by feedback on soul mantle though, i already gave my feedback on it couple of pages back... although i used it with a totally different build from yours... CI n cold.

There are some way to cast the totens more fast? Im lvl 43 and i feel the totem raise pretty slow.

how do you deal with fireballs-instant-kill-totems mobs with soul mantle? you must be under curse constantly i guess, especially annoying is enfeeble

with CI + rare ES armor, it is hell a lot more comfortable AND flexible
you can even cap your ES, put points into critical nodes

conversion traps / zombie/skellie meat shields allow my totems to have enough time to kill, not to mention i used freezing pulse so it was almost perma freeze lock.

main reason y i get curse stacks is coz i kill so fast i have to keep repositioning totems, n not because they die.

n yes when i used soul mantle i was CI. n its comfortable enough, seriously no point in having 10k+ ES when 4-5k suffices. my points were already into crit nodes at any rate.

the thing is with totems u already have huge survivability, i simply find no reason to choose more ES over dps.

with shavs n RF though, i'm struggling to keep my mf n improve my ES, it's getting a lot more costly gear wise.
