I got Gale Spell. I'm at a crossroad sadly. My helmet is worse in terms of ES than yours (and I grabbed Nullification), putting me at 6.2k ES total - barely not enough to sustain RF without EA, wasting 3 nodes for me. Could get the Shavs ring like you but I both find potion spamming useless and would like to keep my MF as high as possible.
I guess I'll get myself a Woe Bite copy and look out for a better helmet while I try crafting better rings for myself.
Why oh why can't the crafters work on a helmet for lowlife sporkers rather than CI helmets? :F
Edit: I assume you include the unique potion to your stats? I got 114/288 before flask.
Heya, ye it's hard finding a high es/high mf helm. What's your current es regeneration? Are you running 1 or 2 life regeneration passive's?
If you would use shavs ring, it would give you an additional 248 es regen per second based on 6200 ES. This would allow you to free loads of passives for more dps. It would however mean that you won't be able to have mf on that ring, making it a bit harder maintaining your current mf percentages.
Shavs ring basically has two drawbacks: need to spam spots (imo not such a big problem and not being able to run mf on one ring) Other than that I was a bit surprised almost no one else uses it.
My current es regen is 457 p/s. Running only one life regen passive.
The dps I take from rf is:
688(life)*1.21(121% inner force)=832,48 832,48*0.21 (79%res)= 174,8208
Which basically means I have no problems with:
50% es recovery (still 228p/s regen and rf hits for only 174)
Max ele weakness/-max res (my res ends up between 48% and 79& : 832,48*0.52 = 432,8896 rf dps vs 457 regen)
The mana spamming isn't annoying at all after a bit, becomes second nature. And uptime isn't a problem whatsoever, we crit like crazy:)
I actually don't run the iir/iiq flask, tried it for a bit but just found it annoying.
My mf comes from:
amu 20iir/20iiq
andva 85iir (just upgraded)
perandus 12iiq (just upgraded)
wondertrap 100iir
item rarity gem 66iir
item quantity gem 42iiq
Total: 271 iir and 74 iiq

How much HP do you guys have that allows you to run Vitality on Discipline on HP? Even after doing the maths with lvl 20 BM and RM gems, I can't make it with my 607 HP. Considering placing a skill point into +% increased max life to make up for it :/
Get both +30 str nodes and get only slightly higher than 152 str to run Vitality 20. Also you gain a little hp and mana each time you level up, so in your 80s you will be able to do so.

In solo play, yes. But in ele equilibrium/light resist maps, we are screwed. I ran Soul Mantle for the longest time and got used to potion spamming, but after a few weeks it just becomes a chore.

Just curious, how do you manage to get such a high ES regen? Do you run some special suffix on items that Im missing? :o

Check my post on the last page for full gear/skills (164) (hint: shavs ring on right spot = 4% es regen)
Can someone tell me why things like Lightning Weaver aren't taken? 3 points for 24% lightning damage with 2% cast speed just seems like a no brainer.
That said, I've noticed many builds pass it up so I concede I must be missing something.
Same goes for Bloodthirst, Shock, and Celestial Walker. Why are these often passed over in these builds?
I think most do take Bloodthirst. I took all of the nodes you mentioned except for Celestial Walker. I could probably drop the Static BLows but I like it too much.
Don't drop Static Blows if you're under 3k dps. I tried, and failed miserably at 2.5k dps. If you crit all the time at ~28% crit chance you can drop it, else you will miss it a lot when fighting the likes of Piety.
