There is a high likelihood they changed a texture or something from a crashing map, and the content you got that is causing you to crash is corrupt. As with the others here, I suggest trying a clean version of the Content.ggpk file downloaded through a VPN to prevent caching from your ISP. Most likely that will fix the problem.

Edit: also.. I recommend keeping a couple of backups for this very reason. It makes it easier to "roll back" to a prior version without having to download the whole thing again.

Also make sure you only patch over VPN. It's easiest to just start the VPN before you play each time.. then when the launcher is done, disconnect the VPN and continue playing. You really only need the VPN for patching.. unless you have other connection issues.
