D.Wands CI Crit Shadow (Chaining Power Siphon) - pre-OBT

I building this shadow but I have big problems with Merveil but friend help me. At all I don't have any problems with all monsters, only with that one boss. Maybe I have noob items for Merveil. Now I'm playing at legacy and I'm 21 lvl, I attacking with Elemental Hit because I don't have any better stones :P If someone have a faster attacks or faster casting I'll buy it but don't make a high price please.

Merviel is pretty hard for anyone new, only advice I can give you is stacking more life, more cold resist, or use temporal chain, which hard counters any boss. The slow down from just level 1 is enough to let you dodge attacks easily, so it's just matter of time before Merviel come down on her kneel.

Now, I have 25 lvl, 2 act. Still game is so much fun and don't have any biggest problems. But my attack speed is still low. Can't find any attack speed gem and inc. ctiti dmg. My eq is like this:

Now I'm on cruel, act 1 at 30lvl.

Get wands that have 1.50 base attack speed, it will be a huge difference.

Don't worry about attack speed on gear too much, focusing on getting faster attack gem, as that gem gives a lot of dps.

Can you make one more time tree skill? Please.

I was thinking of making a shadow centered around this same spec.

That's what I was currently thinking of. Go for LMP + lifeleech on power siphon, hopefully all that attack speed and damage would finish anything off before it could crack the shield.

I felt 250% crit chance from power siphon would be enough, but if necessary, there's crit nodes nearby for another 155% for 6 points.

Tried out Ghost Reaver; but since I have >3k ES and is ranged, I find little difference during combat. The es leeched is little, and monsters still do considerable amount of damage. And the ES leeched back doesn't add up over time, since over time my ES would have already recovered (I am ranged, easier to avoid damage). So what you get from Ghost Reaver is simply making you tank trash mob longer; against boss and rare you still need to be avoided from getting hit.
