Everyone should beware that just because he links the item does not mean it may not be a scam. For example for all instances where there is no 6L, neither party cares because it is a sunk cost. The OP gets the free fusings, and the secondary party gets nothing but is worth it since it was 'a gamble'.

If the 6L does eventually happen, OP has no obligation to pay out anything and has gotten 400+ free fusing in the process.

It seems most of the people he associates with have had success with this method, and have paid up so don't assume he is stealing anything.

Anyways, 24 donated, all bust.

He is already in the + since the amount of fusings spent is worth more than the 12 exalts he is giving away.

It is true that anyone offering this kind of gamble could easily just not give the price. But
if you think about it, on average a 6L would have cost him way more than the 12ex price. So
in the end if the ppl that create this kind of gambles keep to their word, everyone is on the
winning side(that is ofc if you are a gambler! haha)

Well the thing is, usually when someone gets a 6L, they are happy as hell and would gladly pay 12 pure exalts out to the person who got them the 6L. That and if you scammed and didn't pay, word would spread and he risks being hounded by dozens and dozens of people on forums/in game and be forever known as a scammer.

Just follow these 3 rules and you'll be fine.

1. Make sure reward currency is verified (pretty obvious)

2. Make sure the item the person is 6Linking is actually worth a damn. Example: someone offers 12 exalts reward for 6 linking a terrible shitty weapon/chest that even if 6linked wouldn't be worth 12 exalts... be very wary.

3. Make sure everything is done through the person's main character, that way they are more likely to be honest since they probably don't want to be tagged as a scammer for the rest of their days.

in theory u are obviously right, but:
This guy is the from my map group, same group that DarkZandri is playing in, who already used this "gamble" with success and paid what he promised in the end. You can find all information to that in the original post.
I can guarantee you he will pay out the 12exalt, took him weeks to get his 12 exalt together just to be able to offer this "lottery". If you have doubts its obviously up to you to keep your fusings for yourself, but some trust in humanity doesnt necassarily need to be a bad thing! I for my part gave him 13 fusings myself just for fun, and i gonna invest 15 more once he reached 800.
