Some great stuff here
Yeah I got nothin, I've been slackin off really bad in the unique item department. I figure though, what with the influx of Diamonds lately, they probably are glad to not have one more bugging them every week.

I'm currently thinking of a Staff, something in the Coiled/Serpentine line, the type that gives the extra 5% block over the other staff types. Possibly leveraging that into a more balanced offensive/defensive option for staff users.

But who knows, it's still really up in the air for me right now.

Some nice items so far :) I look forward to seeing what the other diamond supporters come up with.

Just out of curiosity, will these uniques have a fixed level when they drop like in D2, or can they drop at any point with level-appropriate stats?

I only ask because there don't seem to be any specific damage values on them.

It's a good question. I assumed my value ranges would be random. It's a level 7 item. I hope it's one of the strongest level 7 items in the game. I think it's stronger than the rapier I'm using at level 20 on my Shadow.

Ah ok, so the damage value may or may not be fixed but the level is.

Well I'd feel like a pretty badass level 7 running around with one of these, anyway :P

Some interesting items. I suppose I wish I had $1000 just lying around with nothing to do.

My item would probably be something like

Wicked Splinter
Dagger

+15 Dexterity
+70% critical damage done
-25% critical chance
+70% spell critical damage done
-25% spell critical chance
On Critical: 100% of damage done is converted to chaos damage
+10% cast speed
+15% attack speed
+10% spell area of effect
3% of chaos damage done is leeched back as life and mana
+50% burn duration on you

Ancient twisting tree so wise
Your sprawling arms over spanning
Winding hearts forgotten banning
Under your solemn guise

you should get the URLs of the items linked and put them in your first post. :)

also any Diamond members that haven't come up with an idea yet should get together and make a SET. :)
you would probably get to add most the stats you want for the normal states + get to add some extra stats for set bonuses. :D



My Item would ether be an amulet or ring that every one can use or an item that i don't think many people have done... like a quiver.

Oh that sucks. Guessing the blind mechanic still isn't down yet. :(

I haven't checked if mine is or not. I'm hoping, but if not, I can wait. I think. It's actually better than the rapier I'm using at level 21. That's tragic.
