Sadly they have been doing this since day one with the stash tabs. They purposely created problems in the game so they can sell you the solutions.

I can somewhat justify the tabs as an initial purchase cost to the game. Like you can play for free, but if you drop $20-40 you'll have access to pretty much everything you need.

Also considering it is a tab for every league, and who actually clears out their remove only tabs in standard? I could imagine the server storage piling up times X thousand players over a couple dozen leagues.

But if we start integrating third party solutions, charging for them, and blocking the free version? That's too far, What's next? Premium trade macro, lab layouts, path of building?

Granted its hypothetical as they haven't said anything about YoloMouse, but it creates a weird dynamic where free software is technically "costing GGG potential sales". (Whatever the audience for a $10 mouse pack is)

I realize that most of the player base slowly clicks on items to drag them within a window instead of rapidly CTRL-clicking, and that most of the player base easily tracks their dull and unexciting pointers through flashing screenfulls of exploding color. But I'm older and don't have the patience to admire my slowly moving pointer, nor the visual acuity to track these pointers through flaming fecal festivals of frustrating flying folderol.

why bring out more mtx if the one you are offering in the store isnt working properly?
