They are not downvoting due to rough league start. Have had a ton of those in the past. It was the whole attitude. Refusing to even acknowledge a problem for half a day, pissing off players by letting streamers play and basically telling the other players to fuck off.

The next day after hitting A6 I am uninstalling and giving up PoE permanently. After stupid Censorship of what can and cannot be said on a game played by adults. and then this release shitting the bed so hard with no talk of "We apologize" for our multiple fuckups here have something for our mistake. You lost a 5 year player permanently. It appeared instead of fixing the problems, you worked your shift and then left it broken. I checked at 1 A.M. CST. after being 8k in the starting que. Did Managment changes and regulation changes caused by the purchase of a Chinese company Influence this Dumpster Fire? Is anyone checking into that? you talk about an alpha test and load test, good job to all of them people if any of it happened. Farewell GGG

I just read the update on reddit (https://old.reddit.com/r/pathofexile/comments/msmty4/ultimatum_launch_server_issues_and_streamer/) and I have to say...
As frustrated as I was because I just dropped $100 on a supporter packed and cleared my schedule to play, when I saw the level of transparency, honesty, and genuine communication with the players, nothing else mattered. THIS IS HOW EVERY SINGLE COMPANY SHOULD OPERATE. KUDOS TO YOU AND THE STAFF! This stuff happens.. everyone is learning.. All you can ask to be thought of during the process, communicated with open and honestly, and people will be happy. This was a great launch in that regard. Maybe better than if everything had just worked. I think you earned a lot of points with your fans. :) |
