Remote Mine

I use Arcing on remote mine totems sometimes. Currently. My remote mine arcing totems do around 1600dps each, which is decent.

Remote mines and totems really are only viable on long range skills.

Cemetery map is annoying to me because of all the little rocks messing with projectiles. I switch from sparks to arcs.

I was wondering if anyone knows if remote mines give bonus damage to detonate dead. Other than the physical damage done.

it is a damage multiplier, yes. although its hard to have a corpse in range of a mine.
I have been playing around with trying to find skills that would be good to use with this support. But it is difficult.

I know someone claim explosive arrows are good..

Also I suppose Fireball, GMP, Concentrated effect, chain, remote mines could result in a 25 fireball nuclear explosion?

Still, the passives to pull this off also eludes me. All the trap passives seems so far off from everything else that would be useful.

Maybe someone has some gameplay videos of successful builds as inspiration?

I've a question, since all placed mines detonate at the same time it's pretty much impossible to determnine this myself: if, for example, I link remote mine with Arc, and then I place 5 of them. Suppose the 1st of these 5 will shock a target, will the other 4 Arcs immediately get the damage bonus from shock? Or do you have to shock a target first, and THEN the remote mines will get the damage bonus?

Also, 5 remote mine Arcs will hit the same target, even if the 1st or 2nd Arc already killed it (not a 100% sure on this, as once again... hard to determine when they all go off at the same time) In my opinion it would be a lot better if detonated skills didn't target an enemy that is already dead.
While it looks instant for you, it is not. If one shocks, others that follow get the bonus damage.
Would the damage bonus multiplier still apply if I did it to something like a bear trap? I'm not too certain since bear trap is kind of like its own entity...

If it does, I should be able to bump up a bear trap to an absurdly high dmg, 60k crits at roughly 40% rate if I do this with the right items

can't put mine/trap/totem support to mines or traps. can put mine or trap support to a totem or totem support. can't put totem support to totem.

otherwise, yes damage modifier would have work as assumed: base *1.3[mine] *1.5[skill]

You misunderstood the tooltips. Remote mine can be linked to Spells AND attacks. However in the case of attacks, it can only be linked to Ranged attacks(like Lightning Arrow, Explosive Arrow etc). As such it says it doesn't work with supported ATTACKS when you have a melee weapon equipped(no leap slamming mine ^^).

If you remote mine a spell, it works just fine with a melee weapon.
