League starter builds are pointless after a week
Whats the point of league starter builds? You reach lvl 70+ after 1-7 days then your starter build becomes obsolete. Yet the whole forum will be filled with league starter builds for months. My question is what is wrong with you all?

Why are they pointless after a week?
How do they become obsolete? |

" A starter build (to me) is a build that allows me to get to t10 or so maps and get resources will little investment so I can bank that currency for a more costly build. Starting a league with a high end build that is currency heavy is pretty annoying. I don't play just 1 build per league anyways so who cares? |

Good league starter builds are meant to carry you to at least low/mid red tier maps, and you still have to "complete" the build at around 90, and then reroll or invest more in the build to make them stronger afterwards. It's not just about complete storyline or finishing white maps.

" EXACTLY HOW DO YOU FARM CURRENCY WITH A TRASH STARTED BUILD IN T10 MAPS, TO MAKE A POWERFULL END GAME BUILD? LIAR

Depends on your definition of starter. I choose my starter so it takes me at least to t15 maps on a <2ex budget.

" you try to insult starter builds but you totally missed the point of starter builds. most of the player has the build they want to play but some build is totally not available in the early stage of the league because the build requires some certain unique or rare item which is impossible to get in the early league so they will have to wait until it available in the market or until they have enough currency to craft the item by themself this is when the starter builds come in because they can't play the build they want at the moment so what are they gonna do? sit still and post some dogshit in general discussion? or play some strong early game build to make currency for the build they want to play? if the build they want to play is available at the start of the league then they don't really need a starter build. The fuck do you mean? My league starter on Delirium league was a CA Trickster who ended up clearing all content and that I grinded to level 98 with. If you are inable to build a good character / play the game well then that's your problem, not a problem of your "starter build".
The opposite of knowledge is not illiteracy, but the illusion of knowledge.

Starter build for me is just a build that doesn't require much currency and let you carry pretty far or till end game whiteout investing much.
It doesn't have to be worst than the build you wanna play or try out, it just a mean to assure that you will be able to farm some currency. Then you can play another build that require more expensive item that is better, more fun, or just for the sake of trying it. During delirium, my archmage stormbrand barely had to pay anything and become my strongest character. Indigon (no % increase mana cost in build) maxing out my storm brand cost with arcane cloak spam. I wouldn't consider a starter build because it was something new, but it was pretty much inexpensive and kill sirus, and complete delirium or fully boost t16 map 100% deli. My point, starter build are usually not expensive doesn't mean they are trash. |

I'll probably roll 3-5 characters this league.
Having a quick guide 2 months in is completely relevant. Streamers roll 2-3 characters a week sometimes. My first character will fund himself AND all the others. I like to league start with a guy that can do it all on 1ex, then 10ex, then overperforms all the way up to 100 ex. That way I can grow or abandon, or come back to him anytime. Good luck exile! Don't start with a build that is dead at 70, unless you are respecing. The lost boy/girl on the beach WILL eventually be the GOD in maps :) I will wear your ghost and you will die twice, against me and for me.
That is some cold blooded shit to say... |
