Curse on Hit modifiers (found on rings) are now mutually exclusive.


Can we get confirmation about what this means in clearer language?

Mutually exclusive means implementing 1 thing will cancel out the other.

Does this mean you can't craft the physical damage taken as x on an item that already has physical damage taken as y on it?

Or does it mean if you try to use multiple items with physical damage taken as x , then only the most powerful modifier applies and the others will not work?

Or does it mean something else?

Yep, sounds about right. I really liked the supporter packs but the final word for this league is SKIP.


I just want to point out that delve is not nerfed. Fossils, yeah. But in the end, being able to get (former) fossil crafts in combo with essence crafts will be super nice.

Also, the new version of "shaping" the atlas is coming in a week-ish, per Bex.


Even *if* they meant it the way you think they've meant it about the 20 levels, fossils will still plummet price-wise, meaning Delve will be borderless worthless to farm.


I disagree. Fossils will still be very useful as fossil crafting will beat alt-regaling in most cases. You just have to start with an influenced base if you want one of those special mods. And the extremely-useful interactions between the fossils (i.e. blocking unwanted mods) is still there. I think you're right that they will be less expensive generally, but maybe we should wait and see before proclaiming the death of one of the most successful and liked pieces of content in the entire game yeah? :)

The rest sure are some welcome changes such as temple, uniques and map modifiers which some of them are still VERY unbalanced at awakening level 8.. you have a long way to go devs.

In that section of the patch notes they are discussing changes to individual items (e.g. on belts this change, on jewelry this change, on body armour this change, etc.), so I strongly suspect it means on individual items. It was previously possible to roll phys dmg taken as cold (Redeemer mod) and then bench-craft phys dmg taken as fire (veiled mod) on helmets, for example.

Don’t mind this comment, I’m just a pissed off Necro player who doesn’t understand how my enjoyment playing necros effects anyone else. The people who took those builds to the max were a minority. I had a baron geofri/victario build and people were slaying bosses faster with double strike and saviors faster than me... I don’t get it. I’m sure someone who is happy about the nerf will be happy to explain though.


such a strange mindset. How in the world does you playing a cheap, overpowered build, roflstomping end game maps and bosses and getting drops at a far easier, faster, and greater rate than anyone else in this multiplayer trading game affect anybody else? such a deep mystery

[Removed by Support] The last 2 leagues I played a summoner and it was great now its time to move onto something new and I couldn't be more excited about it. A gazillion skills and people are up in arms about one build and saying they are not playing this league because of it, lmao you people baffle me. Take a deep breath and actually learn how to play the game without your minions doing it for you or move on to something new and stay out of the forums, you are drowning the rest of us who are excited with all your tears.
