smashing barrels animation a little too slow

I agree; it's too slow. Not by much, but just enough to be annoying.

On a side note, why is my character stomping on corpses to search them for loot? Seems a bit odd. Maybe a different animation for searching corpses (when GGG have the time/money for that sort of thing)?

The only reason I have Cold Snap on all of my characters is to smash barrels and jars.

Middle mouse click, smashy smashy.

Here are my thoughts.

1.) If equipped with a ranged weapon (wand, bow) you should shoot the barrel/crate instead of walking over and smashing it with your foot.
2.) For those that are melee the animation should be shortened it just takes to long
3.) I have been using sweep/cleave but this is a poor solution as it forces you to use mana just to open a box. Also it means people are forced to equip an area spell just do open boxes which i don't feel is within the spirit of the game and being able to try out all sorts of different builds.

One thing: Slot frost nova and leave at lvl 1. Boom all barrels gone in <1sec problem solved. Oh, corpses too :). just a solution i find works. In all honesty though i find lvling cold snap on all my chars works very well. You can get the intel from onyx amulet or rings and the freeze is amazing. But reguarding the OP yes manually clicking barrels and corpse is very slow. But I haven't done that in so long i've forgotten all about it lol.
