" Hi, I do not understand this, is it to set all this to the same volume number? Thanks for the guide. |

Hey i just wanted to add some more tips i found out about that also helped. I went with false on every single sound, that alone increased my fps by alot (guess i have to enable / disable for Sirus to have sound queues).
Disabling shadows and lightning through config file also did increase the fps by a ton! Heres how: In the config file under display you will find Light quality Set this to "light_quality=0" You will also find shadow type Set this to "shadow_type=no_shadows" Try it out, worked wonders for me. |

Don't forget about "Hide Filtered Ground Items"! Makes wonders in juiced maps.

HI

Is there a point to disabling specific audio channels from the config file, instead of just turning down the respective sliders in the in-game audio menu?
|
|
Yes. It supposedly makes a difference if the slider is on 0 compared to shutting it off in the files.
The slider on far left makes the sound just unhearable for us humans but is still processed by the system. Dunno how big of an impact it is, but it makes one. There are some videos on yt about this topic. Im bad at math.
