One question, what is the minimum lightning damage you think that will comfortably keep three stacks of shocks on monsters? (Or more specifically, on bosses? If the boss gets three shocks, the normal mobs will certainly get shocks)

The bosses only get shocked, because there are low hp monsters around the boss i can shock. To direct shock a boss effective, you need like...pfffft, 3-4k ligningdmg/hit, thats not possible on this build.

I'm totally new to PoE but your build and description looks impressive. I'm going to give it a try.
I don't know i should go up the skill tree (to EE, Immolation and Storm Cast) or down to Blood Magic first. What do you reccommend?
Also how much should i pay for a good bow like the one you posted? I have no idea.

i try to use this build with mana+endrich battery for auras. but the quill rain is way to fast :D
think 1.8 attackspeed is good enough. and you dont need the addet lightning gem with the new bow?!
you can use increase burning dmg or somethink like that if you have a 6L.

if i can get the new bow, maybe i save the mana reg nodes at the witch start and go for dual curse. dont know :D
