So the leveling tree has cluster jewels in it super early. I assume you just ignore these and build out the rest as you continue on?

" At first glance... You’re getting your shit kicked in because you don’t have links. This is just me looking at your latest char without loading or clicking anything. I plan to league start as ice shot as well. I will forgo life nodes in favor of damage nodes. I will go in this order: Bow damage -> ele damage-> crit nodes. My leveling tree will probably go to duelist area for the proj nodes. I also wanna note that I’m taking this character and treating it super casually. This means: No shaper No elder No Sirus. I just want to be able to speed through low maps and farm currency. No real goals now for the league. Last league I started as death opus and transitioned to dex stack cold bow. The only way to scale damage late game would be the cluster jewels no matter how you look at it. If you don’t take clusters first, just ran generic crit/attack speed jewels. I also want to note that I was able to dps-check Sirus 8 on 3400 life and 30 to all resis pre flasks and 24 or 26 mil dps on cold stack. This is not to boast nor is it to say that’s the ideal way to do it. I’m just stating my personal experience. This league I plan to trudge through on like tabula and death opus for up to 24 challenges and calling it a day. Hope this helped! |

" I am doing a variant of this build in the new league now (am going to use Lioneye's fall and convert melee nodes to give more bow dmg). Bare in mind that the POB/tree in this thread has got a big cluster with nodes that aren't existing in the 3.12 tree, so we have to find other ways in the tree to scale damage (but this is more for endgame). Reached blood aqueduct yesterday evening after shitloads of deaths, but mainly on bosses and some really stupid boosted beast that oneshotted me over and over until I gave up. Everything else have worked pretty ok, even though my barrage is just 3 linked and only ice shot 4 linked. Clearing is a breeze except for Delirium. Just a rare bow with a quiver with +ele dmg, I later changed to Hyrri's bite when it dropped for me (it's not BIS at all but works ok). I couldn't afford any upgrades except for drops and it worked ok so far. I took some nodes for extra cold dmg and waited a bit with crit nodes, since the crit really sucks early on without spamming a diamond flask. My problem has more been the low intelligence on the char, which limits alot of gems as Herald of Ice, Hatred etc, so had to take a 30 INT node. Also needed to grab mana leech since I am going OOM even with a flask. |

by luck i got a div card which was 15c worth, sold it and bought death harp for 5L. then bought hyrri bite and and just smoothly made it from lvl 32 to 60~, grabbed rat's nest, added inc crit strikes supp to links, kept barrage at 4L helm. with such equip killed kitava, had about 1500hp :D totally glasscannon, ripped few times in heist because it seems another derilium with overboosted mobs lmao. got to maps, sold a dropped CiP, bought tabula, clusters, capped my resist, gonna make 6L bow next. the only problem i think is how squishy build is, atm just playing with 2500hp, i didnt rly boost it, since i have no good rares, but generally ill be able to get to 3k hp. still waiting for cheap prices for abyss jewels. rolling it to 5k hp will be most tricky part of build i think. |

Just thought I would share my standard version of this build. I actually based alot of the build on this one but just made a few key changes. Most of the gear is harvest crafted gear from last league and legacy gear. The main difference is more focus on survivability and utilising a few more legacy gears, otherwise the play style is very similar. PoB : >>>>> https://pastebin.com/qHxwxy28 <<<< Key features - Pathfinder for abusing legacy flasks - Double cluster jewel set up to maximise DPS - Built around legacy Kaom's + legacy vessel of Vinktar + harvest crafted gear. No mirrored gear because I can't afford it :( - Build would probably work fine with a normal Kaom's and integrating Vaal Pact, I would probably switch back to deadeye in this case though. Offence - 30 million shaper DPS - Partial phys to cold conversion - Pseudo 6 link ice shot for clear - Barrage for single target (no weapon swap required). 13 projectiles. - Culling strike Defence - 7.7k HP - Instant HP + mana leech. (1 hp to full in 1 ice shot / barrage) - Evasion + Acrobatics + Phase acrobatics + Elusive - Wind dancer - Resist capped with Wise Oak + 55% chaos res - Wise oak balanced - Legacy Taste of Hate + some armour for physical mitigation. - Blind - Corrupted blood immunity - The only things I'm dying from are random degen effects and on death effects where the are no mobs to leech off. Utility - Headhunter for mapping, Stygian for bossing - Tailwind + Elusive - Dash for mobility Would really want some help on further min maxing my character hopefully without resorting to mirror gear, if there's anything I've stuffed up in my PoB calculations, let me know as well.
