Honestly, I'm planning to start with TR and respec later on, I've posted alternate tree a few posts above. Also until you get the jewel you can just skip the claw/dagger nodes, but you might want to take some mana leech, from Essence Sap wheel for example or Mind Drinker

Despite the nerf to barrage support, Ice shot + barrage support is very viable. IS does more damage per hit than barrage, thus more likely to proc ailments on bosses. we also have full physical conversion to ice, so any source of physical damage will scale too.

We do not want to use GMP since it lowers DMG by 26%.

End game single target can look like this, IS - Barrage Support - Awakened added cold/cold pen/elemental damage with attacks and hypothermia.

potential lvl 22 IS, lvl 7 awakened cold pen and lvl 22 hypothermia.

with fewer projectiles I hope that means less weapon sway, this means we can stay further away and reliably land all our shot.

Really hyped to test it out in POB when gem stats are added

Not sure about, im inclined to use ice shot-barrage for single target. I am also not sure blast rain gets the full benefit from far shot, as it counts the total distance they travel, not from the player.

Simply Ignore those clusters until you can get one. an updated POB releasing today or tomorrow will have this included in the notes section.

What are your thoughts on Snaring arrow - curse on hit - ele weakness and curse annoint? We could throw the snaring arrow, frost bomb him, empty the ice shot barrage, reposition, rinse an repeat since now boss is just gem swap...

For clearing is irrelevant but for bosses the ele weakness + 20% increased proj damage while the boss is snared is not that bad.

Also with awakened curse on hit we can get ele weak on hit from gloves corruption and whatever other curse in there.

Just an idea.

I have been thinking something similar with Curse on hit +
frost bomb - curse on hit+ - ele weakness - frostbite.
and whisper of doom anoint for assassins mark. definitely a viable option. Problem is it takes 2 seconds to prime

What would you say would be alternatives to items like Dying Sun, Pandemonius, +1 arrow quiver since they'll be harder to obtain? A budget gear for the budget gear xD

Amulet = usual crit multi, ele dmg, added dmg?
Quiver = same stats w/o the +1
Flask = ?

And as a mapper spec, you don't find it necessary needing a warding flask?

Sorry trying to pick your brain, for your assmark ring any reason why you changed from triple dmg mods to life + -mana cost? And what are your thoughts on spider vs cat?

All item swaps are listed on the Gear part of the guide.
but yes amulet and quiver would go like that in terms of progression. intermediate upgrade to quiver can be Hyrri's demise.

flask swapping options are there too. taste of hate/ wise oak will work fine.

I also mentioned there we only use warding quicksilver when we roll temp chains in a map, have it sit in your inventory and swap them out as needed.

triple damage on rings is simply way over kill, I used - mana in conjunction with inspiration to confortably play with only 44 unreserved mana.

Quick question: How will we generate frenzy charges as deadeye and in league start? With Ice bite? It's not in skill support gems tho.

Also fast and deadly is better than endless munitions? PoB shows FaD grants us more damage, tho AoE and projectile from EM seems like hard to pass by.

BTW it just feels weird when u go in "league starter" build and one of first sentences is about using legacy items BUT has also budget version.
