Animation Feedback
This has probably been mentioned but the duelist's cleave animation seems a bit too erratic compared to what it was during closed beta. It also seems like he no longer uses both weapons, wouldn't it better if the a dual wield character can alternate cleave swings with each hand? Or better yet an inverted cleave where both weapons swing outwards in opposite direction at the same time.

the run animations are too stiff. i am sure this has been brought up before so I won't go into it further unless anyone wants to hear it.
also i personally think the vampiric weapon effect looks weak. It should be more bloody (crimson dripping like the ebony effect but with a higher particle density) and less bats. Last edited by piperazinedream on Jul 2, 2013, 4:53:50 PM

u have done a lot in the last time different hit animations that the chat once hit with the top of the staff and sometimes with the back and im a big fan of the new auras !!!!!
now the animations i dont like lightning arrow less bright and smaller poison arrow llok nice but its too much u cant see that much endurence cry should be smaller spark (a bit better now like in closed beta) ice shot should be less bright and little bit smaller these spells bugs me u only see people spamming spells and the whole monitor is full of spells change the animations abit or make the increeze the zoom out option by 200 percent just my opinion and add physics to the game i personally would much more like to see gore instead super animated spells Last edited by DonCamillo on Jul 6, 2013, 11:18:57 AM

I prefer the old animation for the templar when he was standing still. The new one looks a bit weird when he is stretching out his legs in a weird way. The old one looked more normal and cooler to me.
Is there anything you can do to change it back by going through game files and stuff? | |
I just recently started playing and one thing that I noticed is that running animation seems a bit odd. Feels a bit stiff. Also is the witch supposed to float? I got that impression at the character selection that she could fly/float but she just seems to move in stiff movements.

Hi, this is one of my first posts here after frequently playing since open beta. Esthetics in RPGs is very important to me and I am satisfied with 98% of the animations in PoE, but two of them are bothering me:
Dual Strike I suggest an animation with two hits very short after another. Basically I really like how this skill works, but the animation, hitting the enemy with both weapons at the same time.. well.. doing this once every nine or ten hits is ok, but doing this all the time looks stupid and compared to real combat arts it is stupid. Double Strike Using both weapons while dual wielding. It is obvious, wielding two weapons and attacking with only one is not how it should be. I did search in this thread and found one divine supporter suggesting the same. After reading this by myself I wonder both animations may look the same, but I guess they should not. Double Strike may swing from the left an right while Dual Strike strikes more straight forward and hitting nearly, but not exact, at the same time. Thank´s for your work! |

" I am currently leveling a 2h duelist because I got and the animations not only "feels" weak but looks clunky. It's not a major "must be fixed now" issue but something to smooth it out and give it more oomph would be nice, like follow through on the swings instead of just snapping the weapon back after contact. | |
The Templar and Marauder's running animation looks to stiff.
