I agree. DPS isn't too bad (the tooltip is not actually what you get). However, the ratio mana-DPS is pretty bad compared to other skills. Sure, the relative cost is less for a greater distance. However, for single targets, cyclone mana cost is just too high...

When I click Cyclone near certain level scenery or walls my guy just stops, leaving me standing dumb while enemies close in. Anyone else get this problem?

Especially bad if you desync (and you think you're still moving).

Gah... I wouldnt mind desync so much if I knew I was still spinning. I suck HP back so if I stand still, I die, kinda like in the movie "Crank".

I have a question. Sometimes I atack a pack of mobs and another pack dies as well in another part of the map where i didn't even go. It's desync as I understand. But it's ok.
More serious issues are the following:
1. Very often the mobs take dmg with big delay: i spin, they continue to mess around on full hp thinking everything is ok and than they suddenly start loosing hp accordingly to the dmg dealt by cyclone.
2. Also sometimes (or even more often) the dmg won't be dealt. Recently I've been spinning (with 5,5 atack speed) through a pack of mobs for 6(!) times in a row and won't deal any dmg. Sometimes it can even take my mana. I thought I'd become nuts because this is is a hudge waste of time.
Theese are 2 issues and I have 2 questions respectively:

1. Are those 2 issues the by-products of desync problem?
2. If yes, is there any info on upcoming solutions of desync problem?

as i understand, desync is problem when slow internet connection. High attack speed, high ping to server, and server can't update your screen.

If you click closer, and you don't travel that far, does that mean you aren't doing the full two attack per spin?

no, you are constantly spinning, it isn't two hits per click... its FAR more than that per travel.
