endless, brutal, overwhelm, headsman. if u dont need overwhelm, take bane

Thans alot, but topic starter has absolutely different nodesin his "my current build" section. He did not mentioned ascendancy order in build.

this guide is about starting flickering from lv28. The guide ends at LV38. After that, you can do whatever you want and it's open ended. Ascendancy isnt really a part of the guide cuz people dont ascend at lv 28.

when i said "my personal progression" i really mean that. its not your build and it doesnt need to be
Thank you for clarifying.
Hey I'm doing the self bleed but with massive investment and I'm using starforge instead of one handers but i keep randomly dying and it says im committing suicide. Like ill randomly go from 4500+hp to zero in less than a second with no monsters near me or anything. With starforge i clearly have the dps to sustain the leech for the 5 seconds and the only bleed nodes i have are the bloodletting wheel. any ideas on why this is happening?

if you want to see my profile here is the link:

I really don't understand why this is happening

1. you have expensive items like starforge and awaken supports but the build is far from complete. And therefore, your dps isnt as high as it could go with about the same budget. Few tips. Take the dismembering node, finish uber lab and get the crit node, and get more accuracy on your gear. (you should have taken the crit ascendancy in your 3rd lab). you also have a couple int/str points on the tree that u can remove. I'd also take vaal pact.

2. you might not be dealing enough damage 100% of the time. try linking leap slam with bloodlust, and ALWAYS have bloodrage on. (bloodrage is a huge source of leech)

3. get an uncurse flask. getting cursed with temp chains will make the bleed last longer. plus, u should have an uncurse flask in every build anyways.

EDIT: something I realized is if you go the impale route, you're going to need more DPS because you cant leech off of impale

Nice guide on early flickering, but do you have any pob/skill tree plan out for different type of flicker such as Terminus ESt, Oro etc? Asking for a friend.

I think other people will make those guides, because they already exist. They just need to update them. The exception is Oro's Crit flicker. That needs a new guide.

We'll see what I end up doing with this guide. I'm still working on it. I dont have the endgame build planned yet either.

will you make a crit oros flicker strike ?

not a full guide cuz i have not played that. but something like this can work

https://pastebin.com/pMNwS0EF

on gear, try to get crit, accuracy, and ele damage. u could try to get a flammability on hit ring, which are cheap. anger crit multi watchers eyes are optional

soemthing to note is that the bottom and left side of the tree primarily has "physical attack damage" nodes, while the right side has "attack damage" or "elemental damage with attacks". So thats why you want to tend to go to the right side of the tree

So any recommended updated guides for 3.9 after this? i have 6ex and 300C and idk what to go for since ive never played flicker or the only melee build i played was cyclone... So im kinda lost there (still havent created the char)
wth is wrong with this build?
I'm too fast for the game.
Sometimes I got lag and die with no idea what happened.
I'm even crashing the game.
Is this happening just with me?
Make PoE 1 offline mode when PoE 2 comes out.

the enemies this league became a lot harder than before. you need more dps and tankiness than ever before . so that hurts flicker. For flicker, DPS is defense, cuz u can spend less time being close to enemies.

as for the lagginess, yea you have to adjust performance settings. if you really really need a performance boost, turning of sound effects helps amazingly.
