i tried dying sun. the additional projectiles almost never overlapped on bosses except extremely large ones. The QOL of onslaught and additional movement speed and 10% more damage to enemies from cinder swallow seemed to outweigh the occasions where dying sun worked at its full potential.

Edit : I 'm looking to rebalance this toon, because my CI version is so much better this league (easy 8k+ es; immune chaos, no need for warlord mark, lot of room for more dmg or more defense). I didn't play life version in standard, how is your dammage after synthesis patch?

I think you get something wrong.

I ONLY use Brine King when I'm fighting Uber Elder. In any other non major boss encounter I'd use Lunaris as well.
You should be swapping Pantheon depending on situation, and Brine King is the best against Uber Elder for classes that do not have immune to stun. The cause of death from Uber Elder ball projectile is not freeze but chain stun.

The immune to freeze is irrelevant to me too because I have freeze immunity on my boot too. You can check my gears from the above post.

Also I don't get your reason of not using Dying Sun aside from it's slightly pricey. You didn't say any reason. Regardless, Dying sun is around 1.2~1.6 million dps boost to my build, depending on when I use faster cast or concentration effect in the link. (2 more projectiles)

How come I dont see ppl using an anti curse flask with this build, I thought that was like mandatory for end game play?

Ummmm I do...
I think alot of people do, but they probably won't use it for major bosses.

Hello, I will probably test dying sun without concentrated effect, but the major issue is this : will all the projectiles overlap with two more?

(edit: My oae radius is 21 without concentrated effect and with
Other question : do you think the culling strike is working here? It's like I can't feel it, or it's only on the last big hit.)

Maybe I'll try Brine King on Uber Elder next time, Shaper alone just don't hit me anymore ^^ I think both are valuable, but lunaris prevents damage too.

Last league I was super lazy, so I just strictly followed Suck's guide -I just played last month in the league-, but these one I try to make my own.

I do use anti curse in my life build,I switch speed flask from movespeed to anti-curse mod at least in temporal chain maps. I was using paragon of calamity most of the time too, because I don't like to reroll maps to remove a mod, all I want is pack size. Most of the time I will use everything that allows me to run more map mods. Then, only if I need more damage for endgame bosses I switch to a full dps setup. This league I killed uber elder with my mapping setup and around 1m to 1.5m dps, obviously not deathless.

This build is non crit, so all crit mods are useless, unless maybe crit chance if you lack some elemental overload uptime.

Beside this you want spell/cold damage, cast speed, +x to cold to spells
And all mods like cold to chaos, non chaos as chaos etc (more costly)

If you want a cheap wand, just look for more total cold spell damage, like in this link >http://poe.trade/search/oyokorudurikat
and then you look for more useful mods

Both of the wands are terrible.

You really need to start using pob to check what actually affect your dps.

The weapon elemental damage without stating spell does nothing to your spell.
The critical strike chance that doesn't stat "global" affect nothing to your crit chance.
The critical multiplier does nothing for our build cuz we're using ele overlord.
You should be using cold dm to spell instead of lightning dm to spell because it scales way better to our build.

Having resistance on weapon is a waste of mod space.
