Development Plan for 2019
I really hope to see some improvements on phasing, speaking of itzaro and especially atziri, maybe even a rework. Getting a boss to 0 hp before he phases is a really annoying design (which also makes it the worst endgame content by far, unlike the rest of the great endgame content), having itzaro perform 4 more actions before he phases is also really annoying.
Hope to see dual gender for each class, don't wanna skip on inquisitor builds due to his character model having a c-shaped spine and therefor having occasional trouble opening chests and stuff. |

Guys, could you please include somewhere in your future plannings development of item auction, so people could trade items easier. Trading is so annoying when especially when you need to buy/sell a lot of stuff.
Refer to WOW or D3 item trading tool. This would make the game so satisfying! Instead of whispering dozens of player trying to buy a map or sell items while you are offline would be such a great thing! Please notice this post! I hope you have already thought on something like this! Smooches! |

Actually, I withdraw my earlier suggestion. Couch co-op on PS4 shouldn't be your priority; QA should.
I've been crashing so much since the last couple of patches. The number of bugs and errors seem to go up and up and up, the more time goes by. Shouldn't it be going in the other direction, as you get more familiar with your own game? I think you guys need to work out a schedule and list of staffing needs to do proper QA on your game for each patch. This has clearly been your most glaring Achilles' heel for the past couple of years. Figure out why you keep failing at this aspect of game development, and then take measures to address those factors. Your fans will be grateful. Wash your hands, Exile!

As you continue to develop for consoles, don't forget to keep limiting melee and crippling skills that don't translate well to that platform, just like you promised you'd never do. K?

Good job guys, you are a great team doing an amazing job.
Since the game has been growing on me and want it to be a use ARPG succes I leave a couple of sugestions / ideas. I know some people dont agree specially on this point, but an Auction house would be a great improvement, we already use external websites for that finallity, why not include it in the game with a build in interface. Nobody likes to PM 20 guys to buy a map, currency or that last item with specific resistances, and no reply comes in. An idea would be hanging the item for sale on a special tab, "lock" the item or lock the tab for X amount of time, the item goes and the currency comes in. (i trully dont know how hard it could be to program this in the current client) Maybe more simple, creating a regular AH not using current tab system at all. My second sugestion, focus on a fact that most can relate and is kinda of an elephant in the room, at around day 30-50 in the league big chunck of the players join the "waiting room" for the next big patch/league. Most of the people play until they are burned out, to the point league gets stale, or they simply lost the interest in the current meta. The waiting room can actually help in this situatio acting as a "recharger" for next league, but i wonder if there is a way to keep it fresh for longer and preserve the growth curve of player base. I believe that Implementing thematic races / seasons, etc., at the nearly the point players start leaving would help to keep more players in the game and potential growth. Most people deny that having a lot of players reaching level 100 so fast and so soon doesn't affect anyone, but in depth psychology it really does, even if it is just a bitter taste for not being able to have the time, or the know how. Having a new fresh start 30-45 days, highlights the fact that you can start dreaming again, and do what you did, but better, maybe go to top 100 or whatever is your objective. This time you can Imagine yourself getting very lucky with drops, maybe you you figured out what would be the next best league starter build.. but now you are stuck with 10 or 20 maybe 30 exalted orbs not motivated to push, compete or even play. I know there was some mistakes in the past, where too much was in fact too much, but there is a sweet spot, we just need to read between the lines and find it. We are very competitive beeings in nature, rewarding people with constant challenges is a big motivation and drive force. Lots of words said, the game is growing, obviously we can assume the state of the game is good and then we have a winner recipe, for that, Big congratulations to POE family and all of us for making this community and game great. |
