Can i get some help with my build I know i have a lot to upgrade, but where should i start? i have 5 exalts to put towards an upgrade, or upgrades.

Maybe first read the guide.
Look at the gems and why we use it.
Look also at the tree : you miss "Elemental overload" / "MoM" and other things.
Look at the jewel with the onslaught, hindred and other stuff.

You don't use :
- arcane surge with brand recall
- lightning spire trap for single target (in glove with socket support skill stat)
- and other like this ...

This is guide is well explain with a good "gearing decision".

I know you don't have to follow point to point the guide and you can make some adjustment but your character seems slightly different.

The build doesn't reccomend it but I don't see why you couldn't do it. The biggest problem with doing that is finding enough resists/life from the rest of your gear. Personally I went with mark of the shaper + an elder ring to get a bunch of damage that way.

Thanks man! Cuz I switched from Carcass Jack to Loreweave but I'm thinking of going back to Carcass due to my resistance problems. I'm capped at 75% when I use Carcass Jack but it's kinda problematic for me if I'm still gonna reach 80% resist using Loreweave.

You could switch your shield to Invictus Solaris to gain ignite immunity and 12 all res. You just the elemental aegis for a fire aegis, which I haven't noticed to be a huge deal.

Invictus (And Vix Lunaris, if you don't need the res and like freeze immunity) also has the advantage of lower strength requirements.
I'm not actually sure how OP met the reqs, I've had to get strength on an amulet AND on tree.

In fact I might go vix lunaris, there is no downside (Other than bricking) to corrupting them, and cold damage is one of the more dangerous ones anyway. Saves a flask suffix which makes running cinderswallow easier (get a bit of fire damage on a jewel for this one). And cheaper to corrupt.

oook, i have just spent a few hours respecing from arc witch to this build.

and WOW. so much fun. the clear speed is super nice, and damage seems also great. now i just need to learn the playstyle and mechanics.

i have taken over some of my gear from arc witch when i respeced, overall it was a little messy due to currency and knowledge.
and i bought some of the new gear already.

can someone please have a look at my gear tell me if i meet the basics? and where to invest in first?

also, a few questions:

what is in your opinion the mandatory \ must have items?
what does increase the damage the most? lightning or spell or area?
due to backtracking for loot, i run out of flasks and lose quicksilver movement speed. what else do you use for movement speed? shiled charge or flame dash? i dont quite understand why we have both?

this build is so much fun , thanks

- Nothing is really vital. For clear speed, running the shield is pretty important for brand recall refresh, though other options would be more single target damage. Pseudo 5/6l gloves help single target until you are doing enough damage just with storm brand (If you reach a point where you aren't really using the traps, increased damage vs chilled enemies gloves probably best option). 6l helps of course but you already have one. if you don't a +2 tabula is a fine option.

- No real difference on damage multipliers if they have the same values. Generic/Area/Spell damage will boost the small amount of cold as well as lightning though, but not really worth worrying about.

- Maybe don't backtrack so much. You should be able to mostly keep charges up if you manage them well. Don't use one with reduced duration and no extra uses for consistency, I use a chemists quicksilver for extra uses.

- Flame dash is for ledges etc. Also to quickly re-position. Charge speed isn't brilliant on this build, it's mostly just to get fortify.

- Gear wise, your left ring, amulet and gloves could all do with upgrades.

I got this helm with 'Socketed Gems are supported by Level 20 Innervate'.

How should I adjust my gems to make use of it?

I was thinking for moving Herald of Thunder + Curse on Hit Support + Elemental Weakness (supposed to be on weapon) to my helm.

Will that work?

Nice helm (Apart from low life)
Probably worth trying the herald in there. It will slightly increase mana reservation, so will lose a few hundred EHP but won't be too bad.
Not sure how often it will proc, though pretty sure I'm killing things with the lightning sometimes. And obviously no good single target with no adds.

Carlovski, thank you for helping me and answering my questions.
Yesterday i bought a pair of gloves with trap damage + trap cast speed.
Just forgot that i need 4 blue sockets lol (and the gloves are dex). After spending 50 chromes i gave up for now. When im home later, i will look into my rings and amulet.

I know i ask for much, but could you show me some examples (rings, amulet) what would be a great update (but not like 3ex per item^^).

Another thing is, I wonder how you could make this build even faster.

I think i might take 2 quicksilvers or something. I have downtimes in between some mobs quite often...and i wished we could use a different movement skill, whirling blades would be the best...

This build is insane, especcially once its running, so fast really, reminfs me of my EK nova in abyss (that was my only poe experience so far). And with phasing, mana and life leech, you just melt through multiple screens of mobs.

Thank you for answering buddy, appreciate it.

If you need 4 blues on a pure dex base, probably best to use jewellers, reset to 2 sockets, colour them blue, then use crafting bench for 3 sockets, then reset to 2 until you have 3 blues, then the same for 4 sockets. Need to unlock the options in the mine though.

Rings wise, either just get life (and ideally mana) plus resists, or try and get a decent elder ring (Just focus on life + resists here) and a mark of the shaper for damage.

Amulet, the lighting damage leeched as life mod is what you want. I've got a bad one with just that, some stats and mastercrafted life on it. If you have boot leech enchant and atziri's promise you can skip it, but having consistent life leech is nice for surivivability.

Speed wise, you can run an extra quicksilver if you really want, or a quicksilver plus a silver flask. Cinderswallow isn't a bad option, you can get the extra move speed + 50% stun immunity mod on it too. You only get a single use out of it though so need to keep it refilling.

If you prefer whirling, going dagger or even a foil is an ok option. Or go brightbeak and shield charge/leap slam. As you say damage is fine anyway.

Once again, thank you. Very friendly.
Will ask a friend for helping me with the 4 blue sockets, he progressed pretty far with his crafting bench.

And thanks for remembering me of atziris promise. i forgot about that one and will definitely use it later, good damage boost as well. for my personal playstyle, the flasks in this build are a bit too defense-sided. i will adjust that later. for example i have that flask with physical reduction, i don"t think i need that one. when i die, its not really due to physical hits (i have the feeling at least).

you said "If you prefer whirling, going dagger or even a foil is an ok option"...hm i would switch right now to double dagger with whirling blades. but as a new player i feel like this change would have a huge impact on the whole build and is not meant to be. dont know :D

thank you carlovski !

Okay that Flaskless/Deathless Uber Elder run is actually really impressive.

Having just completed Uber Elder for the first time, the fight is not as easy as Youtube makes it seem... I failed my first attempt :( and on my 2nd attempt I was down to my 2nd last portal! Even with 6k+ EHP I was one-shotted a few times (not the giant Kamehameha).

I think my gear is pretty decent if not above average of those clearing Uber Elder, so it's probably a matter of getting gud and learning the fight better:

Just switched my necro to an Elementalist and went for this build.

Did some minor changes to the boot sockets due to having a pretty nice wand and couldn't shield charge with it.

Any tips on what I did? and feel free to import my PoB to check as well. Not sure why my dmg is showing slightly lower than Vowel's original PoB though.

Also my survivability is terrible :D
