Since I am relatively new to the game (hence the 'beginner friendly' tag drew me in :) ) I have two probably trivial questions:

1) What is the reason not to use Greater Multiple Projectiles Support? Does that one not stack with Beltimber?

2) I was wondering whether there are no boss fights in the later stages of the game without an opportunity to kill trash (and hence summon heralds of purity) directly prior to the fight.

Also, aren't the heralds a bit fragile? If they are anything like my Lightning Golem they won't last very long.

The 18% more cold damage surely is tempting, but maybe just plucking Storm Brand into the Malachai's Artifice will serve me better?

You recommend leveling with arc or arc trap but in the low level skill tree you still spec cold/fire nodes. Isn't there a better leveling skill that actually benefits from the nodes while leveling?

I extremely rarely comment on my threads due to lack of time and therefor focusing on my youtube comments instead.

However, there seem to be a huge problem for a lot of people using this build as a league starter. The niche design of it requiring uniques that drops from guardians which are towards the absolute end-game will ALWAYS be expensive.
Now, with that said, the build is still more than fine to play as a low budget build functioning as a league starter.

There are multiple options some are gone through in the guide as well, so here's a run down of what you can do and what I'm currently doing myself as I'm running the Inquisitor version of this atm in Flashback Hardcore.



Use 6L Winter Orb with Cold2Fire support (including Avatar of Fire), make sure Combustion is there. This is WAY more than you need to use for smooth clearing.
Since builds utilizing Frostferno has caused that to go up in price higher than expected you will simply be using a 4L Ice Spear, however, I personally felt that you'd be better of utilizing something like Vaal BV or as what I'm currently running; Lightning Spire Traps.

Lightning Spire Traps - Trap/Mine DMG - Elemental Focus - Lightning Penetration (NOTE: This is prior to Avatar of Fire keystone, at which point you should be using an Ice spell with Cold2Fire included).



The comments seems to range from people having no problems at all who understands this situation and a lot of people being frustrated so let's put this all to rest and help you guys out.

Hello, 1st, thanks for your build, it's clearly good.
But I have some problems with it :
The way you socket ur stuff, where and how is totally unclear to me.
I read on your 1st post that you play a 6L Ice spear, then it's Winter orb then the gems aren't the same from one post to another post...
The only item I don't have is Frostferno.
And I'm having trouble to play with Hatred + Herald of Ash + Herald of Purity.
When all the 3 of them are active, I don't have any mana left.
I don't think having Frostferno will change anything to this.

So what did I do wrong ?
