"moral solutions" to "inequality" are restrictive controls on players freely living their lives, because we know what's better for people

delete headhunter and inspired learning.
*I think it's a bit stupid that the most efficient way to play is to ruin the game's performances by grouping up a bunch of supports with a headhunter carry and endure the lag/hickups/choppiness. The game engine can't handle it very well at all, why even allow it in the first place?! *makes the game look and feel like shit, and also ruins every league's pace ; wow such a well designed item. ***That being said ; let's be real, havok would've won either way ; he's a madman, a true gamer. eh. " the builds that have hit 100 or are about to hit it in SSF doesnt use those didnt even slow them down. If Aila didnt die at 99.85 to PC blue screen he probably would have beat Havoc - in SSFHC no less. HH is one of the last chase uniques in the game for normals. leave it. Git R Dun!

If Havoc616 or anyone else has the dedication and the gear/skill/group to win, more power to him.
Why even sour grapes? I have an Alien pet.

Apologies to the OP who believed they could beat a no-life streamer that gets paid to play the game.

" Well, for me he can win 100 Demigod's and beat the game how he likes , it was even nice to watch his stream , but the problem is that GGG balances game basing on streamer's game , what hits into us , casual players ... "Path of Exile's engine is currently modern, lean and fast." - Chris Wilson, September 19th, 2019

The thing is, we're all in the same league without any kind of qualifications. To continue with the NBA example from earlier in the thread, most of us who played basketball at some point failed to make a team whether it be High School, College, Semi-Professional or Professional and effectively were eliminated from contention for the Larry O'Brien Championship Trophy (I bet most folks never knew that name...it's certainly not as well known as something like the Stanley Cup, etc.).
After we failed to make a professional league, we either moved on or continued to play without expectation of winning something other than enjoying the game. I personally play at our local court and have no expectations of winning a trophy; and I'm not sure what it would be called if there was one....The Al Bundy Beer League Trophy? My point being, the trophy is there for those that are great at the game because they are genuinely better or dedicate more of their time to the game. They earned the prize due to choices they made to win it. We (and yes, I mean practically all of us) don't win because of our personal choices and/or capabilities. Placing arbitrary limitations to somehow level the playing field would disadvantage others in a different way. As an example: 8 Hours Max/Day: Those of us who have a job may just want to burn our Saturday to catch up and play 16 hours that day. We can rest on Sunday :) -- this would take away that possibility. Also, streamers/gamers would just create a few more accounts to continue playing and multithread multiple wins. I think GGG should consider bringing back actual races. 1 to 8 hour events on weekends across the 24 hour period so all can participate with points at the end of each race that are not bound by time with a known prize pool to spend those points on. That way someone can do some races, earn points, and save/spend them as they like. As an aside....Anything measured in weeks is no longer a race in my eyes; and it's not a league either. It's just generally awful all around :) Thanks for all the fish! Last edited by Nubatron#4333 on May 15, 2018, 7:09:13 AM
