Just wondering, for the people using this build... do you guys have MF gear? This build seems like it's dependent on gear for the extra INT or dex

Great guide, i have some questions about the damage though. Is the dps calculated with the curses in mind? I also run a EK marauder but with much worse gear and no quality gems and im able to reach ~3800 dps with both added fire and wrath.
When i calculate your damage i get: ((528+791)/2)*((100+68+14+15+(340/5))/100)*1.34*1.72*1.25 = 5035.051675 dps Base: (528+791)/2 Spelldamage: (100+68+14+15+(340/5) Projectile damage: 1.34 Castspeed: 1.72 Hatred: 1.25 What am i missing in the equation? ~3800 dps with both added fire and wrath = wrath does not work with ek, maybe u wanna say hatred?

heyo,
just one question " How do u compare iron will to added fire when it comes down to swapping against physical reflect ? I mean added fire damage clearly adds elemental damage, while iron will boosts ur physical dps. So, swapping life leech in for iron will, will on the one hand decrease the amount of dmg u suffer from reflect mobs and will give u, on the other hand a smaller amount of leech. Swapping it in for added fire though, doesnt impact the reflected damage but gives u more leech. So, i guess it comes down to, whether u want to see ur health goin up'n'down or u just want to take less dmg from reflect mobs. nice guide btw :) Last edited by pathmnd#0309 on Apr 15, 2013, 10:03:59 AM

" Unless you are supplementing Faster Projectiles with Projectile Speed on weapons the support combinations for a 5L should be Faster Projectiles, Faster Casting, Blood Magic, and Iron Will or Added Fire. You are then substituting Life Leech for the one you are using when doing reflect maps. Even in the case you have a 6L the 5th support should be Life Leech anyway because once EK is level 20 and you have decent gear you could easily kill yourself in a couple cast against reflect you didn't see coming. My 5L combination was EK+Faster Projectiles+Faster Casting+Iron Will+Blood Magic and I substituted Life Leech for Iron Will in maps. My 6L combination was EK+Faster Projectiles+Faster Casting+Iron Will+Life Leech+Blood Magic and I substitute Added Fire for Iron Will in reflect maps. Does physical Damage % on a staff improve the DPS of EK ?
