[3.6] Triple Herald Blade Vortex Elementalist

This sounds intriguing to try, especially with the whole temple mechanic. Though, I hope the uniques aren't that hard to get a hold of with the early start to the league and all that.
I'm doing this build on HC and having a really easy and good time with it. Decided to give it a go when I found a Vaal BV on a different character and it's so fast.

This is the first hero of the 3 I have that can clear Temple Visions fully in the allotted time.

Buy Hrimsorrow gloves and switch to aura-less Warlord's Mark setup described in the Gems and Links section and start using all three heralds


I do see two different warlord's mark setup one linked to Herald of Thunder/Blind/Fortify and the other linked to CWDT/IC/Increased Duration/

when the guide says aura-less warlord's mark does he mean the CWDT setup? and to drop the one attacked to HoT/Blind etc? or do you run both Warlord's mark?

Also instead of CWDT Warlord's mark since we have it on Curse on Hit could you replace golem with warlord's mark in the boots? so it cast automatically? (I always forget to cast it)


CWDT-WM is still required against single target, HoT-CoH is only going to be available after you kill a shocked mob.

CWDT-WM is a bare minimum, using both cwdt and hot application is most safe and reliable.


ahhh, gotcha, one last question from me, in the guide it says herald of thunder doesn't reserve any mana, is that because we dont turn it on and let Curse on hit auto apply it? or am I missing something

It says it doesn't reserve extra mana (from the support gems, curse on hit and the curse). u-u reading comprehension

Got 80, reaching high yellow maps. Status of my gear so far:



All enemies really MELT. The Tacati mod on these daggers + a few crit and spell damage rolls end up being way better than a max roll Divinarius. Biggest problem I'm facing so far is mana: with all heralds and the blasphemy warlord's mark, I'm getting 87 unreserved mana, and I can cast exactly 1 Blade Vortex (50 mana) before going bankrupt. The Arcane Surge + Orb of Storms setup really helps with this, as I can just spam Blade Vortex with it and the mana recovers really fast (almost can't notice the lack of mana).

Next big upgrade would be maybe some jewels with attack speed/life/damage (attack speed only for the whirling blades QOL), and then go for the early Inpulsa. But yeah, I'm really enjoying this early endgame aspect of the build.

I am just getting to a point where i am putting my sets of gems together in the right spot how ever i am coming to a issue of which set up to follow do i follow the written set up for do i follow for what is listed on path of building. If i am to have CWDT and Warlords till i get a ring or such to do it what do i sacrifice till then to make it work till i can do that ?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

You can drop blasphemy if you got warlords on cwdt + herald of thunder curse on hit warlords.

You shouldn't be using warlord's mark linked to blasphemy after you get your 3 heralds, link thunder to curse on hit + warlords mark and it does the same job without reserving so much mana.
