[3.6] Triple Herald Blade Vortex Elementalist

Has anyone tried a loreweave with this? PoB calls it a push with Inpulsa pretty much but I thought the +max res could be nice eHP gain for this.

Im in crap gear and at 4.4K HP with points spent on exceptional performance which reassigned would push my HP closer to 5K. Getting real gear would help too. Im just hitting yellow maps and flying though but for late game I'd like to see how tanky this can get.

this changes nothing at all. the only damage we are doing with ailments is ignite and it is maybe 0.5% of the total damage we're doing according to PoB.

i've been working on the revamped guide for the 3.3 update in the last couple of days. it will be simpler and easier to run with more focus on survivability to address the issues often raised in the comments. i'll post it either tonight or tomorrow.

Thanks for clearing up my misunderstanding. I may be running this as my league starter for 3.3 as well, I think having leveled a caster finally I wouldnt be so slow the next round.

yes, 3.3 pre-release update is now posted based on my experience in the SSF flashback league and the feedback i got in this thread:

* single ascendancy pathway regardless of what chest is used
* MoM is mandatory
* added full gem setup that doesn't rely on any specific gear and provides everything - defense, utility, leech, all 3 charges. just copy it and you will succeed.
* added FAQ section

I'm just wondering how efficient MoM is while running triple Herald. I have around 5.2k HP and I think I sit just under 500 mana unreserved. Is running MoM just a question of mana regen or should I seek more flat mana?

I also noticed you have changed your passive tree pretty significantly from the build guide to your current SSF character. Is this due to playing in SSF or will you permanently go for something like SSF tree? I noticed you went for another duration node.

My gear here: (I know weapons are garbage :))

I decided to give it a try on standart, just for fun.
The first thing I don't understand — do I need CONSTANTLY press blade vortex just to have more blades?
This looks like very fucked up mechanic and annoying to run \

Inpulsa is not a build enabler. The build works with any armour, if you prioritize defense over clear speed you can use loreweave.
You can also try allocating Mind over matter.

blade vortex is a duration spell. even if we completely run out of mana it stays up and keeps hitting - and leeching so you get the mana back fast. so we don't have to follow the usual 70/30 life/mana rule.

MoM is not just about adding extra 500-1000 to your life pool. It also adds mana leech and mana regen to your recovery pool. 10% more HP and 25% more recovery is quite a lot and makes a difference.

combination of SSF and Flashback. the extra duration cluster won't be needed in 3.3.

yes, it is not all rainbows and unicorns.
Made it to maps and died 50 times in my first trial. So much for this build being "tanky."

I've done all but one trial deathless. I almost died a few times due to my mistakes. This is not a jugg where you stand on the traps and get a drink of water but its beefy enough to take hits and not die.
What about watcher's eye "damage taken from mana before life "
Does it work with MOM passive allocated? (adds another 10% like 30+10) And is it worth to use it in general or rare jewel with crit multiplier is better?
