Isnt it better to have extra cold dmg gem? added fire's % on the base of BV seems way lower then the flat added cold from an added cold dmg gem, what am I missing mate?

Blade Vortex has only 30% damage effectiveness meaning that only 30% of flat added damage is applied. % increases are applied in full.

try unspeccing 3 points around Instability and get MoM instead and all nodes behind it. may need to invest in mana some more either on gear or on the tree, aim to have at least 500 unreserved mana. and cap your resists.

3k life is low for flashback. get the scion life cluster asap and consider taking MoM.

"only rings and amulet without" did i read this correctly you have no life rolls on jewellery at all? that's like half of your gear. very important to have 70+ life on EVERY rare piece of gear.

1 Change hrimsorrow for hrimburn
2 Uber lab
3 lightpoacher is pretty good if you like it and want to max you clearspeed.
you don't really need shaped weapons
inpulsa's 5l ( or shaped helmet with hypothermia and inc AOE ) for clearspeed and Uber lab is better then tabula or shaped weapons and it's enough for this event.

you may be right. i haven't been able to test inpulsa's in flashback. but from my ssf experience it is important to have good single target damage to erase dangers quickly, like beyond bosses spawn etc.

ailments :3
shock and permament chill or freeze on beyonds. Hypothermia ( more damage against chilled ) and inpulsa ( shock buff ) gives you a very nice boost

With the removal of:

20% more Damage with Ailments for each blade

Seems that opens the door for say a Templar or Raider to match the damage as the triple heralds will still be good but not great. From my novice understanding seems like a nerf to this specific build.

Im a casual so finally hit maps a bit ago and rocking under 10C in gear... so far everything is great. Getting ready to start investing and taking this further, its a fun build and I like it - different from my normal melee builds. In the future not going to level as long with firestorm as it was slow and once I make the move to BV I ran though the last couple acts.
