real good common sense guide. I'd like to emphasize that from my experience alch and vaal > chisel and alch, map drop wise. source: atlas completion of 95% + since it was introduced.

Would like to mention unid maps, especially rare unid maps.
Its risky to run them, you might RIP if you dont pay attention or RIP the map, if your build can handle the mods - but its worth it.
Usually I do add Atziri fragments and usually I do get a lot of returns.
Not every single time, but often enough to justify taking the risk.
I was hosting 6-people group last few days with red maps running.
Have to say that:
1. even with 6 people i can't sustain red maps
2. this system sucks hard and I start to hate this game
I "like" advice how to sustain map pool. BUY THEM. Such a great idea I wouldn't know that.
