Item Splitting Beastcrafting Recipe Disabled

wtf you should rollback to the first day!

Just some food for thought on a potential solution that I have not seen proposed quite yet...

Solution:
Create a new Bestiary league (2.0) that runs side-by-side to the original Bestiary league (1.0). Set the league end dates equal to each other (preference given to 2.0 having the standard league length and 1.0 being a bit longer than 2.0... but ending on same date).

PROS:
This gives the community options: scrap your time played & items found for a fresh start or tough it out in the original 1.0 league. I've seen posts where longstanding PoE players have finally found their once in a lifetime item... Would be heartbroken for them if it was all rolled back or purged.

CONS:
Primarily GGG Technical Resources (servers, setup, etc). There's also potential that friends might make different decisions and become unable to play with each other until next league.

"Does not work with Shaped and Elder items" Clearly states something, then you use it to do exactly that. That is an exploit ,which they were supposed to know.
If there is an exploit in the game that is indeed GGG fault.
If someone use the exploit in the game, that is the person fault, which should be punished.
Just because you can do something doesn't mean you should do it, or you can do it without consequences.

What you guys should do is hire a person whose job is specifically to take any new mechanics or items and try to break them before they get released to the players. That way things like this don't happen before it's too late. I will gladly accept this position, just pm and we can discuss my starting date. (Seriously though I hate my job and working for GGG would make my life so much less boring)

Compensation for those who didn't abuse the bug would be nice... Nice game

Im usually on GGGs side but this time you guys fucked up hard.

Even before the league started and we only watched the trailer we could already tell that this recipe is gonna be broken.
Ziz even talked about it on his podcast, "if i can be used for duping shaped/elder items.."
Anyone else could see you could either copy really expensive base items or 6links or enchants and stuff.
Every player with a little game knowledge could see that!

But the Q&A team with THOUSAND HOURS of game experience werent even suspicious???

STOP RELEASING THE LEAGUE WITH THE BIG PATCHES,
put some time in between so you can hotfix all the important stuff before league starts.
BRING BACK PTR for big changes and temporary league mechanics.

And by the way if you do not remove all the duped items asap, this game will be literally dead in 24 hours!

1. It was an obvious exploit to dupe elder/shaper items since the recipe itself said that it should not work.

2. The people using this particular dupe with shaper/elder items should be banned, shouldn't be hard to find these people.

3. Yes, rollback is not a good choice. Making the league void and making the general beasts more accessible and inflate the item market this way is a better choice since a broader audience then will be able to have some fun aswell.

Letting things like this slide will NEVER make it better. The best thing that can happen to the game at this point is that a lot of people quit and this will be the league where GGG lost a huge amount of their income. I do understand that they put very much of their money back in to the game but at some point they should not be able feel like it's okay to make these kind of mistakes and simply be forgiven time after time.

I suggest that people who have not spent a lot of time in the game and has no noteworthy amount of money put in to the game just let the grown-ups handle this.
