As someone who has spent several thousand on the game, yes - I do feel distinctly entitled to post my sincere opinions on the forum. I do that when my feedback for them is positive and supportive (recent example one, recent example two) and I do that when I feel more critically about what they've done. It helps GGG to know what was popular and what wasn't.

Honesty is fundamentally showing respect for someone - if I stayed silent when disappointed with GGG, it would imply that my expectations for them were low and I didn't think they could improve. I honestly can't think of a way of being more rude towards them than that.

Please do not attack people for merely offering their opinion. It's staggering that you can call someone entitled, tell them that they lack manners, and think that they are being rude. You are the only one stooping so low as to cast around personal attacks.

Critique has second to no value if it isn't constructive, you only complained, period. You did not raise a single point on something they could improve on. It's like spewing air from your mouth and hoping it accomplishes improvement. And yes you are very much sounding entiteled and you even gave reasons as to why it is justified in your mind. When did GGG ever claim that outright critique with nothing constructive behind it would give an indication of what is popular? Wouldn't statistics on playtime/number of players/income of revenue be a better indicator? And several thousand what exacactly? Pesos? I have spent a whole bunch of money on these guys for the mere fact that they where offering something of value to me and also the fact that everything else is FOR FREE. How come I don't feel the urge to comment on something they do I don't like? Is it because it most of the time is immediately followed up by a positivve thing? Hmmm. How about next time instead of spewing the words you did just say what you would have liked to see them do instead. And if you think calling out awful unconstructive things people say about something given for free is "an attack" from someone being entiteled then that is on the brink of delusion imo. GGG specifically posted this thread to showcase the MTX.

I'm not sure what responses to the thread you would expect other than subjective opinions. Nor am I sure why you've decided to assume that only positive opinions are welcome. I've dealt with GGG a lot and such a belief runs contrary to my experiences with them over several years.

GGG are a developer with a single game. Understanding how people feel about the game - not only positive opinions, but overall - is vital to them. They genuinely care about making the game the best that it can be, and that means hearing from people with critical opinions at times. It is, with respect, not for you to dictate what feedback other people may post on GGG's forum.

What I did is offer a personal opinion.

Elaborating on why you like a particular piece of art is often easier said than done. It's naturally very subjective. This is one of the reasons external feedback is so valuable.

Now that's just being disingenuous. I never claimed that your comments on my post amounted to a personal attack. An example of what I'd consider a personal attack is questioning how someone's parents raised them. It's not relevant to the forum and is none of your business.

Are you in favour of, or against, people being rude? I struggle to reconcile the standard you're trying to hold me to, with your behaviour towards me thus far. You accuse me of being hypocritical in the next quote - I'll do your the courtesy of asking for clarity instead.

GGG's employees are professionals. I really don't think artists who have worked on hundreds, or thousands, of models are likely to get hurt because one person on the internet doesn't like a handful of models they made. They're quite aware that different people have different tastes, and also that some models they produce will be more popular than others.

Gotta say I was really hoping for a pet reward. A gore-horned unicorn, or somesuch.

The rewards for the Bestiary League remind me of The Dark Crystal. The portal is a grand guignol - it's just hideous (and I like it, though maybe wouldn't use it too often). MOOD.

I think the portal is a good contrast to the Abyss one, which I am a big fan of and many aren't. The hole in the ground is really fun to use.
