Suggestion: Haste reserves 35% mana instead of 50%
" It's REALLY important in MMOs and good players show their support players a lot of love but in PoE, like I said, I don't see much need for it. When I realised this, years ago, that was the moment when I realised PoE would never be a social game for me. I probably supplemented that by being more social here. ;) Fun little fact: way back on EQ1, a support style character could make serious bank just by sitting along the side of a busy road charging for run speed buffs. Hardly the only example of that, but it shows how other games in other genres give players incentive to be something other than dps machines. Which, let's face it...PoE really doesn't. For all its mechanical depth and complexity, PoE is a very, very simple game. An inch wide and a mile deep, as they say. And they said *I* was bad at PoE. At least I made it out of act 1 and know how to use the /dnd function. El oh fucking el.

" An Aurabot is the name of a build. A build that is typically Low Life and runs as many auras as possible with as much reduced reservation and aura effect as possible. Their soul purpose is to run with partys or others to buff them considerably while mapping. Has nothing to do with botting its just the name the build was given. Its basically a support build. If im not mistaken the name stems from other MMO type games but only one i ever really played was WOW and Aeon for a short time. There is a fine line between Consideration and Hesitation. The former is Wisdom, the latter is Fear. Last edited by Demonoz#1375 on Feb 11, 2018, 6:31:44 PM

Of note with Haste is it's not always worse than something like Hatred for certain builds. Depends on the enemy resistances (and how much of them you can ignore) and how useful the extra run speed is to you despite it not being much. Just have to plug it into Path of Building and see for each character.

I also see no reason why Discipline have 35% when Determination and Grace is 50% when ES dramatically overcomes Evasion that overcomes armour.
Same for purity of elements = purity of ONE element. It shall be 35 for ALL and 25 for ONE element, not 35% for both And what about STR/DEX requirements? shall it be reduced to 111 instead of 155? For all gems? |

I understand Grace being at 50% since it's amazing and one can argue that for the sake of balance it's necessary.
Determination i get why it's 50% after playing ManaGuardian with 70k armor. It's strong, but compared to Grace it's not versatile so 50% seems unreasonable. I would get Determination at 50% if it would have additional effect like flat armor, phys dmg or something extra. 40% seems reasonable, but then it's necessary to calculate other stuff like Hatred, Heralds etc to achieve optimal level of reserve without breaking much other stuff. Haste - with the level of speed the game is now, and the amount of nerfs Haste got, it seems hard to use at 50%. Usually i have it as swap when running low tier maps , in exchange of Grace, 1:1 , seems OK. Is that good? not really, but there's nothing better for non-phys scaling in a green slot. I would not use it at 35% either as primary choice. At 25% probably yes, as swap for something like Arctic Armor which is also underpowered, but helps in some scenarios. Again. As a Swap for something else. I represent only myself, my own thought and believes. I am individual, not a representative of the community.
I am not speaking on behalf of someone else and I don't get offended by things that have nothing to do with me. 3.13 was the golden age. |

i never use haste because of its reservation. with a 35% reservation, i would use them again. same goes for determination
I usually do not read popular posts again after i made a comment on it, unless it's one of my own. I wish to have a Black robed Grim Reaper micro set in game one day, grant my wish, GGG

" It isn't a buff, they can already run everything the fact they have another 2% mana available doesn't mean anything, just makes it more effective for the nobody that currently uses it. |
