[3.10] From League Starter to Shaper – Cheap, Tanky, Fast and Fun Physical ST – Very Detailed Guide

Thank you vor the detailled guide, I am going to try it out as my league starter in Delve :D

I have 1 tip though for a lot of posters. When you start with this build, you don't have to follow the guide to the letter. In case of resists there are nice options available that you can later spec out.

Check the tree for Cloth and Chain and Survivalist. For 6 points you will get 36% to all elemental and +1 to maximum cold. Use them till you get better gear and than spec them out with the respec points you can get from quests.

You can also choose Alira (15% to all) as a bandit to start with and change that later to Eramir although that is a bit more expensive (20 regrets, https://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Book_of_Reform_(Eramir)) )

I'm talking about with GMP. I get maybe half the screen distance. While under the effects of the quick shrine, it easily covers the whole screen. Only projectile speed affects the distance. You can get some of that if you want but I advise against it. Whirling blades is so fast in this build that you won't have trouble going in and out of the darkness.

I've made a few changes in my gear to have more life. I've lost rampage and bisco tho.
However, Uberlab went well, I agree with you, VP builds are not that great for uberlabs, and I truly believe the game is not balanced when it comes to lab and builds.
Physical/Armour based build are much better, with my juggernaut, I can almost walk freely in the lab.

I love the final ascendendy buffs (2 last points), having onslaught for 20" after killing a rare mob is like having perm onslaught. Really happy with this build. Gonna try to see where I can go with it.
I'm at 5.7k life and I should be able to reach 6k life in a few levels (last jewel I guess)...without belly of the beast (cause I don't have money for a 6L belly).

This looks promising. I'll wait for patch notes to make any conclusions though.

Physical Projectile Attack Damage Support
It now grants more chaos and more physical damage to supported attacks instead of Poison and Bleed damage.

I read through the patch notes. The build is completely unchanged. The tree changes don't affect us, the physical projectile support doesn't either. All is ready for Delve then.
I'll read them again when I have time in case I missed anything. PoB shows no change though.

u say there is no change in 3.4 but i see ure using herald of ash in ure gem setup.
isnt the new herald that scales the phys dmg better then the 1 with fire?

First of all, no change means that everything we've been using so far works like it did before. No nerfs, no buffs, no changes to anything.

In every league there are new skills and items. So far none of those have been of any use to this build. This new herald does indeed sound promising but all I've seen is a teaser video and a vague description. We'll need to wait until GGG reveals the skill gem or until the league starts to get the details. If it's better (and there seems to be a high chance of that) I'll add it to the build but so far we can only guess.
