Been trying out the build and leveling as a new player with alot of experience from other ARPG.
Feeling kinda squishy and dying to a lot of random things when doing 9-10 Maps. Is there anything i am missing or do i just need better gear? Great guide anyways! | |

Been playing it as my league starter and am really having a blast with this build!! My RNG this league has been shit and currency has been limited but this build as been able to handle content up to T13 maps so far with not much difficulties on a shitty 5 link. Currently saving up for a better 6-link chest and some other gear upgrades and am hoping to be able to down Shaper for the first time ever this league!! Only thing that is giving major issues is Elder fights, i find them super difficult even on just yellow maps, any suggestions or tips that might help make the fight more manageable? The slow debuff in that fight really destroys me. | |

" Yeah that slow debuff is pretty bad. One option is to use Kaoms roots only for this fight. You lose a CWDT setup (or whatever you have in your boots) and resists (which is the major problem with this) but you can't be slowed any more. Also switching between SP and GMP can be hard so you can also try to use faster attacks for the entire fight. You still need to facetank things of course. Chaos resistance is generally not important. This season is my first season of POE and I've really been liking this build however I have no clue in terms of upgrades what I should be saving for.
I also don't really understand the resistances, if I have each on the character screen saying like 75% (121%) does that mean I can take resists off a piece of gear as long as I keep them all at 75%. I have a tabula rasa that I was using while trying to 6L a belly of the beast and I was able to 5L it but im not sure if thats better than a 6L. I'm kinda rambling here, but what should I be upgrading, I'm level 81 and I can clear T8 maps pretty well, the only times I die I feel like I get insta killed from something. |

" You're getting one-shot because your life is too low. You need to get life on your gear and replace the tabula with a proper armour. Since you're new you should familiarize yourself with the wiki. You'll find a lot of information in there. I've just cleared act 10 and started mapping, and I'm getting one-shot in tier 2 maps. I've been mapping with an arc build up to about tier 10, so I at least appreciate the difficulty spikes, but I feel very squishy. I have capped resists (apart from 3% under on cold), but I assume the main issue is 2.7k hp (so not enough to leech with effectively) - in part because I'm still using a tabula. I don't have the chaos to buy a 6L chest so i'm not sure whether I can continue with this or not? This is my current gear:
The obvious main issue I suppose are the tabula and goldrim? I'm not really sure where to go from here if i can't afford a chest upgrade at the moment. If anyone has any advice I'd appreciate it! | |

Gloves and ring also have no place in this build. You can buy better rares for an alch.
