The speed of the projectile determines the distance it goes. If you throw slow in terms of projectile speed, they won't travel as far.

HI, I am having a blast with this build ... but my stuff is no where close to what you say...

I know my gear is not correct.. but its hard getting the gear .. getting past t6 maps is a issue for me ..

This is my 1st build and league ( am a noobie) ..

My specs are public so take a look guys and any suggestions on how to improve would be really appreciated.

You should change your helmet, belt and ring. The uniques you're using aren't helping you. You should get good rares according to the guide. In general you should aim for a lot more life on your gear.
I also see that some of your gems are very low level (like hatred and your boot CWDT setup). You definitely need more intelligence on your gear, that will save you 2 points.

Sup dude. Loving the build. Definitely taken it further than any league build so far. Can you give my gear a look see and let me know the most urgent replacement. Resists are fairly balanced but not overcapped right now. I have two steel rings but damage is NOT a problem currently. Def need more life. Let me know. Thanks again!

My advice would be start with getting a rare necklace with some life. A good one is also quite a bit more damage then carnage heart, I used that for a long time too but the upgrade was well worth it.

Both hands and feet could definitely get more life on them.

Save rings for last and use that to make up whatever resistances you need then as much life as you can.
If on a budget go with as much life, resists and phys damage as you can afford dont go straight for steel rings if you cant afford it but more life will help you alot.




For reference if anyone is curious my current gear gives me about 6.6k life.

can i also get a gear check as well, have 2 exalts and 80 chaos to upgrade, i know i should do gloves but i like the enchant on it atm.

Boots, gloves, amulet are all in need of upgrades. Don't worry if you can't get gripped gloves with good stats. Just get life and resists if you can't afford gripped.
Overcapped resists you mean for elemental weakness ? Don't go for that. Just make sure they're capped and when you're doing elemental weakness maps just use a bismuth or a warding flask.
Leave the rings for last but they need an upgrade too.

I would also be very grateful for a gear-check! I started with T8 maps yesterday and they don't cause me any problems. Nevertheless I would like to equip myself for harder maps. My current gear cost (apart from the 6L chest) only 5 c per item. I have about 3 ex to spend and would like to know where I can get the most improvement for my currency. Thanks in advance :)

Don't tell me that great jewel cost you 5c. That's the deal of the century.

Your gear is good so the next upgrade will be expensive. First you have to decide if you're gonna wait to get a 6L Belly. That would give you even more life but it's expensive.

The armour you have has a lot of life and you can get to Shaper with it so you can keep it for now. My recommendation would be to keep the armour and replace everything else. Also it's time to replace the Carnage Heart. You'll need more jewels later so you might want to save some money for that too.
