I wouldn't say you quit attacking. I just quickly lift my finger off the mouse button and then back on. I don't have a stop watch but that entire action takes less then a tenth of a second. The play style becomes very fluid once you get used to it.

And what would be the difference if i keep attacking without stopping? Cause the animation of bf keep doing the "explosion" on 6th sequenced attack

This forum thread explains it nicely. The TLDR is to release at the 6th stage for best DPS over time.
https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1827540/page/1#p14153799

When you channel you will repeatedly build up to a 6th stage attack. Without releasing the attack, my 6th stage Shaper DPS is 246k. If I release the attack at the 6th stage my Shaper DPS goes up to 336k.

I have all item's suggested but my tooltip DPS is only 3293.
I'm only running 5-link with level 19 gems but it seems much lower it should be.
Any suggestions?

Tooltip DPS for Blade Flurry is incredibly broken. That is the per attack damage at the first stage. You attack multiple times per second with this build. Additionally Blade Flurry has damage multiplier for each stage you hold it up to 6th with the most damage being done when you release it on the 6th stage. To give you an idea how broken tooltip is, my build currently has 4325 tool tip damage but damage in Path of Building for release at 6th stage is 312k Shaper DPS.

You are right I checked in path of building but im still sitting on 120k. I think getting more int so I can level up wrath best place is from neck I guess.

That seems a bit low... make sure you are calculating your damage with Concentrated Effect. Increased AOE is nice for mapping but does nothing for you against Izaro. With a level 18 Conc Effect in your 5L you should roughly be around 180k Shaper DPS.

Edit: Also, make sure your evasion boosting flasks are enabled. Dreamfeather increases 1% attack damage per 450 evasion.

Wait, so we need to stop attacking when the buff get 6 stacks and start attacking again? Or we can just keep it pressed until boss is dead?

yea, I didn't know either. But it is a channeling skill, so you channel until you get 6, let it go and channel again. Otherwise, you don't release the damage at 6 and it just stalls there.

1. Do you get to 6 stacks and release? for the AOE dmg? or do you keep channeling it?

1. In the build guide video, you had Power Charge on Crit in helm instead of Wrath. But in the build guide, you have Wrath there instead of Power Charge on Crit (completely removed it?). May I ask why?

2. You have fortify linked in the boots with the culling strike/faster/charged dash. Is that needed since you already have fortify with Whirling (on weap)? could we maybe use that spot for wrath and put Power Charge on Crit back in helm?

3. You said to use Herald of Ice instead of Artic Armour while mapping? Any other mapping change suggestions? My buddy told me to take Conc Effect out for Increased Area of Effect in 6L (not sure if you already mentioned this in guide).

4. What Armour am I shooting for? I have 540

5. What Evasion Rating am I shooting for? I have 14885 *I know I'll get more when leveling, only 73 right now.

6. What Main hand Crit chance am I looking for? I have 18.25%

7. What main hand Crit multiplier am I looking for? I have 215%.

8. For more dmg while mapping, would u keep onslaught as last link or replace it with something else? if so, what? Right now I have to focus on mapping to level up, so whatever u could tell me would be so helpful!

1a. Yes, 6 stacks and release. When you fight Izaro you should stack to 6 prior to him being active because you can release for large burst when he is attackable.

1b. I optimized the character a bit more after the video. This character does not have a lot of spell crit. I was not generating power charges frequently so I dropped it.

2. Yes you can put Power Charge on Crit back in the helm but it's not going to proc frequently because this character does not have a lot of spell crit. I killed Izaro before getting power charges so I did not need this gem. Because of this I decided to buff charged dash to be as useful as possibly.

3. So I dropped the orb of storms and put in Herald of Ice, Curse on hit, Assassins Mark, Onslaught. This would mean you'd have to move gems around and recolor some things. And that's why I didn't start farming lab until a high level. Because I knew it's a pain to swap back and forth from mapping / lab.

4. Best to look for physical damage reduction on the character sheet. I have something like 12% when I stand still with the pantheon power.

5. 45,000 Evasion WITH Jade flask active is optimal. If you need a stibnite to get 45k that's fine too. But it's important because that's the evasion you need to gain full movement speed from queen of the forest.

6 and 7. 25% and 300% is about what I have. That's without counting diamond flask.

8. Onslaught is ONLY for farming lab efficiently. Most of the people who make this character won't benefit from it in their links at all because they're not used to playing with full focus. With that being said, you could put in Faster attacks or increased crit chance for more damage. Faster attacks is probably technically the best choice. But Inc. Crit Chance will give your character more consistancy.
Remember to swap conc effect for inc aoe.

I was thinking for casual lab runners who wouldn't be able to utilize the movement speed flask to the full advantage could drop it and pick up a basalt flask to gain some additional damage reduction in the boss room. It will definitely slow down the build, but I know when I first starting running your crazy builds that it took me awhile to get used to having so much default movespeed. For players unconcerned with absolute speed, this would add an additional defensive layer into the build and theoretically (combined with pantheon choices) should almost eliminate any potential one-shots except perhaps from the scariest buffed Izaro.

Yes, you could drop the diamond flask for a basalt flask actually. You'd be in good shape and super tanky. I wouldn't do it though. No need.
how the fuck did u get 4b on devotos (dex based)?

Vorici socket crafting for the win. Still somewhat expensive in jewelers but you will get it much easier than trying to roll chromatics. Here is a quick guide on crafting off-color sockets using Vorici.

Just like old days, Jelbishi, kudos to your build and guide. I'm very curious about this build, but still wonder if you may share a little bit more details on lvling this character at the beginning of the league(, I mean, like what skills you used to lvl, when switch to blade flurry, and etc.). Also, what gears to start with before you have those legendaries.

Thank you.

I can expand upon how I leveled my character....

Really appreciate your patience and sharing there. I will try lvling a ranger like you suggested.

If you dont mind, may i ask one more question, please? can you share how you take passive nodes during lvling pleases? I'm kinda new for ranger, not so sure which one should be higher priority to take first. Hope you could help, thanks.
