[3.6 Video Guide] Volatile Dead Elementalist (or Inquisitor) [HC/SC/Uber Izaro/Shaper]

Hey Ghazzy, was playing a Flameblast Totem Crit Build with Elementalist till I tried out VD.
Feels pretty good and is a lot of fun.

You think it would be a viable option to go totem style or is playing with selfcast way better?

I think that due to the nature of how VD works, it is either Spell Cascade or Spell Echo that would be optimal, neither of which can support a spell totem. Not to mention that it already has a "delayed" design in terms of when the dmg comes after casting the ability itself. Delaying it further by supporting it with a totem would be horrible imo.

just for help, I would say we can find awesome new shaped scepter with affixes :
Socketed gem supported by Controlled destruction
Socketed gem supporter by Spell Cascade
Damage penetrate X% elemental resistance

Wich is roughly equivalent to a 6L, but can be buy for 5C or 10C.

What do you think about Hrimnor's Resolve. It has fire dmg, some life armour and you dont need the freeze flask.??

40% MoM which results in a 1.666% multiplied eHP when fully sustained with a 0.666% unreserved mana pool, which skyrockets my defensive stats :)
For softcore I would probably go with some chest piece granting + lvl of gems.

It's actually one of the better "shit-uniques" you could use for this build. Though, life is a tad bit low and the res is only 30% Cold, a heat flask isn't an issue for the end-game imo.

I would say that this helmet can be a nice lvling addition from lvl 55 but I would ultimately rather go with some shaper/elder helmet in the end or even Essence crafted etc etc.

Ghazzy I need some help dude. I saw some builds of VD changing their skill tree since the patch. I feel like is not working that good now idk why. do you know something to do I think I have to much mana over 4k I use now xophs blood. I have two questions:
1) Is it viable to use unreath? I think its faster well in a few videos they get up lot more balls very fast, and if your answer is yes, can you say the combination of gems?
2) I really never use the cremation, do you think can I use an aura to gain some damage?

Hey,

1) Unearth can absolutely be used, the most optimal links would be this:
Unearth > Echo > GMP > Faster Casting

2) You can skip Cremation if you feel like it, sure. Just keep an eye on your unreserved mana to not lose the sustainability of your eHP provided by MoM (check the calculator in the guide). Though, if you wish to kill end-game bosses (shaper/guardians/uber atziri) you will need fully linked Cremation :)
