" Abyssus is a ridiculously good dps boost for anyone that can benefit from the +phys and/or the crit multi so yes, if you don't mind dying more, for mapping you can run with just like wep+chest and still clear with your eyes closed so the dps increase is usually not needed until T16+, unless you're low level/have bad gear. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________ Just wanted to share my toon as well, though it's Oni-Goroshi, for some comparison and discussion! " A high pDPS mainhand is what ALL of your damage scales off, its extremely important to have a high pDPS mainhand. From the gear you do have, it looks like you have currency to spend. I'd make sure you save up to upgrade your weapons first, your offhand conversion rates are quite low as well, I'd shoot for a 35/35+ offhand with some crit multi/crit/area damage; prices for these have been coming down quite a lot. Secondly, jewelry is also a large chunk of DPS scaling, steel ring/rings and an amulet with crit multi are great for scaling your damage up. Your probably having a hard time capping resists due to kaom's roots. I didn't have much of a problem capping with a rare helm, rings, amulet, belt and boots. Lastly, you don't really need a bleed remove flask because you should always be leeching, and you cant bleed while leeching. Make sure to have one for remove curses and remove freeze. I would also swap onslaught flask for atziri's promise (big DPS boost). If you still want to get Onslaught frequently (you already get it from killing rares due to ascendencies) you can get a "#% to gain onslaught on kill" from the new abyss jewels. One large DPS boost I noticed was investing into 4 stat DPS jewels (not abyss jewels) - Double crit multi jewels with #physical damage and attack speed will skyrocket your dps. Also your jewels in your gloves are complete garbage. If you get abyss jewels you want added flat physical damage on them. I am still tweaking but feel free to look at my profile. | |

" I wouldn't really call it my build as almost everyone is using the same or almost the same tree, but yeah. I don't think endgame content will be a problem at all other than hard corrupted T16 guardians, Shaper is really easy, Elder seems pretty easy as well if you know his attacks and when to dodge/dps. Maybe won't be able to facetank everything and outleech/burst T16 in 1s, but that's not what i want anyway, game gets too easy/boring when you're ridiculously strong and don't need to worry about much. I have no doubts a good 1h + statstick will outshine Oni's on potential dps and min-max, i built this toon to do some content for as cheap as possible as i always do my chars, mostly sniping good stuff for cheap, pretty casual build for SC, can always put on the Abyssus and get stupid dps at survivability cost, total cost for toon was roughly 2-2.5ex~ i believe (gear+flasks+jewels), Tombfist was a lucky drop, tho it's not needed or you can just go with 1 abyssal socket. Thx raz0rxxx, i really appreciate the help and the time you took to look at my build.
I will be switching to rare boots and will use my BOTB instead of rare chest. I have some currency to work with, will first invest in a better main hand (~6.85cc, 1.85aps, 320 pdps), and then probably into correct jewels like you suggested. Think the last change will be the offhand as i assume it will not be a cheap buy. The bleed removal flask was an error on my side, i was switching from another character and for some reason left it there. | |

Hello can someone take a look at my char and tell me what i should improve? Im at the point trying to do guardians and shaper, did minotaur first time today and had to use 3 portals, the dps not that good vs guardians, had no trouble with everything up till now

Is it safe to say this is not meant to be a boss killer? I got wrecked in a corrupted T14.

" If you can't get a helm with Conc + 2/3% crit you should probably swap your Reave to the pseudo 5L(your Foil) and Blade Flurry to your Belly, your ammy has no damage, and the Murderous Eye jewel on your Tombfist looks pretty bad (didn't check tree jewels), it takes a bit of investment to get dps high enough to melt T16 bosses, also watch out for mods, stuff like %life/%res/-dmg from crits etc will cripple your damage by A LOT |

" I second this, map mods make a huge difference when your doing high tier content as melee. With frenzy/power charges, and full life my BF setup is doing 2.2mil shaper dps. For most T15 bosses die within a second or two, guardians take 20-30 seconds. |
