Elemental Equilibrium

This issue was already mentioned some time ago but it remains unresolved:

Wrath, Hatred and Anger active by other members of your party can ruin your Elemental Equilibrium build.

In order to use EE it is necessary to carefully plan and equip your character and it should be like this. This is the commitment necessary to greatly enhance your damage. But even with careful planing, your build can be ruined if there is a party member running one of those auras and you cant do anything about it. So EE encourages you to use a skill rotation but discourages you to join a party. However a possible solution was already posted some time ago:

Sorry if this has been asked before, but the procs from Herald of Lightning only do purely lightning dmg and no affected by Herald of Ice right?

I am using a tri-ele weapon, if the mob I am hitting got hit by HoL and every hit after that (for the next 5 sec) I will do:
-25% lightning dmg
+50% cold dmg
+50% fire dmg

is this correct?
