The Harbinger Supporter Packs

Are there any good videos of the new mtx since apart from the tiger it seems a little sub par for the cost ?
It's a good point -- the style of the Oriath packs is weird too. The legion and eclipse packs don't look like anything else in the game. The Harbinger armor style is weird.

In general I love the 3.0 expansion, but what happened with armor mtx's this season?

(And I don't want to be mean; there's tons of fantastic armor in the game. The Atlas packs were *all* great. Edit: The Pure Light and Ultimate Chaos sets are also amazing.)

So will there ever be any cohesive art design from GGG? Ever since Path of Purple the art design has jumped the shark. There is zero consistency in PoE's art design and it makes for a poorer experience than the gameplay deserves.
3.0 is excellent. But harbinger, and it's packs are lame.
Tala Moana Warrior!
I really liked PoE and so as a sign of courtesy, I am getting the Harbinger pack as my very first full-supporter pack (had Classic one before but I don't consider it as a 'full' one).

But I have to say, USD60 is not worth the underwhelming design of the armour. I was expecting a closed-face helmet and sleek plate-armour like in the mass effect series. But no, this purchase is purely a pat in GGG's back for a job well done in their years in running the game.

As much as I pat GGG's back, please slap the designer/s' wrists on a doing a bad rendition of the Harbinger theme. Please hear the community's feedback and issue a redesign of the armour.
Heres my honest opinion about the Harbinger supporter packs.

I was pretty hyped for the 30$ pack, because its actually my first time spending money on PoE.
Especially after seeing what got released in the recent leagues, e.g. Breach, I was hyped even more because even the 30$ supporter pack was awesome and did fit perfect to the topic of the league. Especially the breach cloak with the firery breachspawn design.
the 30$ Oriath supp pack was kinda "mehh" to be honest, but ye no one is forced to buy something.

This league i was especially hyped for the supp pack, cause like in breach league, the topic is pretty perfect to create some awesome firery cloaks and weapon effects.
And im not gonna lie, the weapon effect is super awesome and looks exactly like i imagined it to be.

I was also pretty hyped when i saw the cloak on the picture, cause i thought, like in breach, it would have some super awesome Harbinger-fire effects and would literally be a blue-fire claok, but as soon as i saw the video i was pretty disappointed to be honest. The cloak, in the end, looks in my opinion pretty boring and i kinda expected more.

But in the end i cant really complain, because i wanted to buy 250 points anyways and in the end even after i'll buy the pack i'll still have the 250 points + the pack extras, so those are kinda nice gifts.

I have to be honest with you guys, I don't like when people say kind words just for the sake of being kind, these armors look terrible and completely out of place from the game.

The only good thing I can say is, that they match the equally bad challenge rewards :D

I like darker and more realistic armor, that also fits the style of PoE, like the Forsaken Masters and Legacy armor, so I'm hoping you still going to release good stuff like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CK4ERkHbwWM.

I've being waiting for this hood since I first saw it in that teaser

I missed the breach supporter packs and was really hoping for a nice "bling-bling" cloak. :-(
I'll buy the pack because I need some points and the pet + weapon effect are looking really nice.
(Unfortunately not a fan of this armor design, too.)

These are C- offerings for the money. The community is ready to throw money at GGG and their great game, but these packs just look phoned in.

Don't let your foot off the gas now GGG. Keep fighting to be the best. Eye of the tiger baby!

What I feel like people lose sight of is this:

The 2 titles, 2 frames, cloak, pet, full armor set, character effect, and weapon effect together costs $5.

That's it. You get $55 worth of points as part of the pack, which means every non-point piece of the pack is the extra $5.

So yeah, jesus. If even one thing in that set of -->8<-- is worth it to you, the pack is a good buy. And I'm not sure I've seen anyone dislike the pet yet (and similar pets average 200 points, or $20, so $5 for that one is a steal relatively speaking).

I really like POE and 3.0, but these harbinger MTX are awful and it looks like their development was rushed. $60 for the sets I will never wear, weapon effect that is similar to old-ass lunaris suporter pack (pre 3.0) one but a bit more blue-ish and some burning tiger that seems to be just a tiger with the same blue shit particle emitter strapped to his ass...? Comon, GGG, just release the tiger as standalone, available in many colors, like the scorpion.

Probably will buying the Oriath Outlaw pack instead. Looks stylish compared to this blue garbage.
can i upgrade the one i bought for the beta?
