can we patch early? torrent is RIP

Hey can someone help me with the torrent pre download. I don't use Steam. What do i need to do with the PoE-3.0.0-preseed.torrent file?

I never did something with torrent. Do i need a torrent server or what? Do i only need to copy it into the game folder 3hrs before the release und just start the launcher or what do i need to do exactly?

Can't be GGGs fault that you have slow internet XD

So im downloading the patch through torrent , when im done with it all i have to do is replace current GGPK file with the one downloaded from torrent and hit poe.exe to get remaining files right ?

I thought we just need to copy the PoE-3.0.0-preseed.torrent file into the game folder and thats it. and then start laucnher for download. Am i right? Or do we have to replace files. i don't understand this :D

for people struggling with torrents:

Install utorrent ( google it )
Launch download through link provided
Extract ggpk file into your game directory and replace the old one.

You need a torrent program to open the PoE-3.0.0-preseed.torrent file. I use utorrent, but any torrent program will work. Torrent programs are freeware, so install one and you should be able to open the PoE-3.0.0-preseed.torrent file. Once you open the file, it will ask you where you want to download the contents.

Choose somewhere that you can easily access and then when it finishes downloading, open the .zip file that downloaded and extract the GGPK.content file to your Path of Exile installation directory, overwriting the old one. Then wait for release in about seven hours and open PoE. It will recognize the new GGPK.content file and might have a small final patch to download, but you should be set.
