Yes, this is disappointing for those that can't get the MTX because their country is excluded (myself included), but letting go of such a huge opportunity because of some cry babies would be a huge mistake on GGG's side.
You don't get the chance to partner with huge platforms such as Twitch and Amazon every day. The potential exposure for PoE is huge. " While this is correct, it is still free. cant understand why people whinge so much.. if a grocery store contacts a game dev to get an mtx for their customers.. whats the problem?
now its twitch prime doing it for their customers, so whats the problem? the gift is from twitch prime not GGG so why complain to ggg? Its great POE is visible enough nowadays that a big company actually contacts them to be a part of a promo. if it goes well they may do more.. and promos, boys and girls is one of the ways we might actually get race seasons/regular events again.., GGG doesnt have the resources as they need to keep creating content to keep us happy. (we all start whining when leagues are <2 months old..) promos mean someone else pays for the resources and then all kinds of things become possible. GGG can happily keep tinkering away on new expansions , and they could perhaps recruit a few people and run regular events/races/etc.. or at least, thats the dream.... 3.0 should gain GGG lots of publicity lets hope they can ride the wave.. :) have finally gotten used to the lab... I dont hate it anymore.:)

Spitting in the face of a huge part of the fans of the game, who lives outside the listed countries. It does not matter where they come from and what language they speak, they are all part of the community, no matter how much they paid in the in-game store.
First, talk about cooperation, and then take and move some people aside, saying "guys, this is not for you ..." Affiliation. edit: p.s. I understand everything - marketing, but your marketing (after all, this is your project in conjunction with Twitch) divides the players into those "who can and who can not," it reminds me of some kind of descrimination. " and what if it doesn't go well? last time i looked, poe was still a fan sponsored project. a promo, even a voluntary one, is a step to sell your userbase to big businesses. the razer footsteps were pot ugly so not a real loss but the new effects don't look bad. fan sponsored projects have to show ethics to convince their fans, getting funded by big busines is the first step away from that. age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill!
