I'm not really interested in supporting Twitch. As a company I really do not like them, they're far too unprofessional. Even the website is a total mess, auto-play videos on the home page is poor website design (like wtf). Speaking of ads.... They made their cancerous ads unblockable with their stupid integrated video bullshit.

Thank goodness I haven't used my free trial yet because I'm going to use it and get the hell out.
R.I.P. Harvest crafting. You were amazing for one league

Entitlement: The Thread
For real.
Already have Amazon Prime here since I purchase a lot from there, so Twitch Prime is included. Nice. :) I could always use some more purple. :P

I'm against this.

Twitch Prime is only available in a handful of countries. GGG's staff live in New Zealand - not a single employee can avail of this promotion. I honestly think that's ridiculous.

this, and again purple? wtf is wrong with you people.
Sorry! Twitch Prime isn’t available in your country.

Both statements are grammatically correct. The first statement
"You are able to buy them in the future."
connotes that you are not able to buy them now, but that changes in the future.

The second statement
"You will be able to buy them in the future."
connotes that you gain the ability to acquire them later, implying that you cannot buy them now.

Both statements say the same thing from a different point of view.

It's like saying
"Yesterday you said you would do it today." versus

"Yesterday you said you would do it tomorrow."

They say the same thing from different perspectives. One translates the meaning of your statement from yesterday to mean that you would do it today. The other quotes what you said, implying that you would do it today (since today is the tomorrow of yesterday).

Also, I gave this thread a couple of hours thinking more people would come to their senses but I'm frankly alarmed how many people don't seem to understand how promotions work. Since my more detailed post got drowned in the whining, I'll reiterate

1) This offer is not a free giveaway, but rather a promotional offer.
A) The MTXs are incentives for participating in the promotion
B) Giving them away outside of the promotion defeats this purpose

2) The MTXs are compensation for supporting GGG.
A) You either support GGG by supporting their new partner (even if just for a free trial)
B) Or support them by buying stuff directly from GGG.
this is a marketing/promo fail because you'd think someone @ GGG would've anticipated the backlash by some of the community, who now feel left-out.

i'm sure no one resents GGG's opportunity to promote and therefore grow the game, however they could've made the announcement of the promotion to be visible only in the markets it pertains to. that would've been a better thing to do.
ooh! 'member when PoE was good and fun? i 'member!
