Ah, just in case anyone thought something naughty about that pubic hair comment... the most heated discussion on the issue I ever heard was between two women actually. Everybody knows pubic hair is an extremely potent witchcraft catalyst and the two were dabbling in it. One of them claimed any hair will do and the other made a point on using only the hair of a freshly-flowered virgin, that was the properties part and the amount was about one hair versus nine. I think they still aren't talking and it was quite a while ago.

I took Homeric Greek for a short time. It's actually easier (slightly) than the modern. I think more people learn Homeric Greek or possibly New Testament (I think it's called?) than modern Greek.
