100% preference, they do everything just fine.

eq tree, you just swap sword on the left side for axe nodes. simple as.

amazing build lol ive done all guardians deathless with 5l and no sins rebirth. almost 8k life with belly and can just facetank uber izaro...

Works well too, maybe poison stacking is still op on strong bosses, but in t13-t15 I seriously don't need void heart. Plus I have better overcaped resistances with this setup (and belly).

Together with Kingitsu \ Kraithlyn \ pantheon Soul of Gruthkul + Soul of Lunaris (master of blade) you can get some dodge\evasion chance.

My leveling was so easy I have to say yes, it's fast and easy, never failed a lab. Did all lab entering act 3...just use some health flasks to run even faster trough traps.

concerning stuff, I was just picking max life/res and any weapon that make me hit hard and tabula rasa lvl 1, most of items was just 1alch uniques
