Hmm, 30 minutes is very long. I'm done, going to check my mail every week but there's no point in lurking the forums anymore.

" Really only for those that can prove their veterans. Though some of us have been following development for a long while, we have nothing to show for it and thus no way to increase our chances of getting in. |

" Agreed. |

" Agreed too ... this new timer lowers the chance for us *randoms* 30 min... i dont like this new 30 min timer:> |

Well the time is another thing. 30 minutes is way too high. But about those two types of timers - well they've done compromise for both groups so don't blame them, because its the most fair thing they could come up with. I think that there is no other better way to get everyone happy and satisfied. (well maybe give beta keys to everyone right now :-D :-D )

I was a long time lurker of the game back in 2010. I never made a forum account because I posted on another site. Much less, all the speculation was effectively all you could really talk about.
It's disheartening to see that the new timer is for veterans, in the sense that I'm seeing people with old accounts, and last login dates of last year getting in. They needed a second timer for active forum goers, not spammers, and they needed to not announce how the second timer was derived either so that people couldn't spam or know the conditions. The new timer is great for veterans, despite half seeming inactive as well. Problem is, per chris, you just alienated out one side which you stated you didnt want to do. |
