"Veteran" Beta timer
Chris and other devs should try to hide beta keys somewhere, not just posting like 20 keys at time...
put one key in your forum signature space or something ;) :D Last edited by turtuma85#4152 on Aug 12, 2011, 4:15:43 PM

Does it means I shouldn't post too much now to be a veteran ? :P

It's true.

I sincerely hope that most of the people pouting aren't full grown men. That said, I AM happy about the veteran timer.

i do not consider me as a veteran (joined in march) but i lurked this forum like every week for updates and i hate people that didn't care about the game before , now looks like vampire-beta addicted.

Post because you want to. No because it will give you a higher chance in getting into the beta.
Edit: Looks like I stopped people postting........sad. Last edited by krystsakes#0768 on Aug 12, 2011, 3:21:19 PM

Most have come to the realization if youre not a veteran, your odds are so slim and posting has minimal effect on their chances. It's simply easier to stop posting and not care at that point.
Unfortunately, it also means people who are posting on the forums, or active on here regardless of join date, are just as likely to get a key as the random timer people who sign up and vanish. If they are going to reward people who joined months ago merely for time, they also need to reward the people who actively participate in forum discussions, so long as its not spam. Join date shouldn't matter. For the record, the veteran timer is fine, but it's going to alienate one side, which I don't think chris was aiming for. |
