Okay, I'm playing this in Legacy Hardcore and here's what my stuff looks like at level 35 with shit gear mostly SSF, just downed voll and will be trying to farm a bit for some better res gear for cruel. I don't have a lot of play time available at the moment so just slowly playing through when I get a chance.



Again, this is Hardcore so I'm going for tanky now, dmg later. I am not going for quickest clearing as I would prefer to stay alive instead :)

Lvl 35 Tree

I will most likely setup a lvl 1 cwdt - vortex - ice spear - vuln in order to take care of cursing/proc EE/EO

Ice spear is a great cwdt method of proc'ing ee/eo because it has 600%inc crit chance on explosion

Right now I'm running blasphemy/flammability only because I found a flammability and got blasphemy from a quest reward. I just got lvl'd enough to use rapid decay in my 4l instead of iron will. Iron will is nice because it's free, but rapid decay is definitely more dmg.

Doing a Legacy Hardcore version of AhfackNoPants LL RF SR. This footage is just from normal difficulty. Haven't had a lot of time to grind yet ;). I'm using Shield Charge as my movement skill, and Scorching Ray is just on a 4l with complete shit gear.

Okay, busy day in RL today, I had a few more minutes to play and I'm level 46 now and farting around in Cruel

Gear:

Some of the gear is the same, some of it has changed. Having enough dex and strength while leveling up is definitely something to keep your eyes on. Don't want to lose progress on your gem leveling. Especilaly Rapid Decay



The Cold damage to attacks on the ammy makes the shield charge proc EE on any enemy it hits. Thinking about devoting a 4l to it and putting in fortify/inc crit strike chance.

Will you be stocking up on chance orbs at all possible to get the best uniques you can get? Farming breach alot also for chayula?

Not sure to be honest. I'm actually kind of liking doing a life version so far. I know people in hardcore leagues don't want things too expensive just in case they die and have to re-roll.

I'm thinking of doing a life iteration utilizing a newly redone unique that has been a favorite of mine for a long time:



40fire dmg is great for this build. They added life to the helm which is GG, and changed the 50%/freeze/chill immunity to straight up CANNOT BE FROZEN/CHILLED if you've used a fire skill recently - which, you know, we do that anyway :)

Debating between RoTF shield once I'm leveled up for it or just getting a 20rdot shield - haven't made up my mind yet.

Guardian is so tanky and underrated, you really just have to focus on offenses once you're ascended

Right now, I'm focusing on being able to utilize RF because that will be my next big damage boost. I've gotten the first aura effectiveness cluster, and now I'm going to get the entire scion life wheel. I plan on first trying to get purity of fire/vitality going with either a RoTF shield or 20rdot shield and getting that going as soon as I can.

What about leveling sequence of Ascendancy points?

1. Time of Need - it's the most important part.

2. Bastion of Hope - the block chance is insane and you will be blocking so that means you cannot be stunned the majority of the time. This is very important until you go lowlife and get a Presence of Chayula.
